Yeah everything moves with the tide of cheaper manufacturing, I've had really good luck with my last 2 dewalts but that's no suggestion.

Yeah or looked at Disney's cinamatic profits. Sure let's eliminate all these cash cows for good, we'll make the money somewhere else...

Dr hulk is a fantastic hero, defenitly on par with Thanos

Looks like it's already seen a few hot suppers, might want to try one of those big name scumbags instead of the hazard freight.

Awesome, when you finish it make sure you post the stl so we can all enjoy

Well nobody have ever thought about it this way, probably because they can see the flaws in execution and don't waste their time rendering

This is what happens what artists try to "engineer" a better product. It's why you pay actual engineers to execute a project.

Agreed, maybe we could put the line somewhere like 3 feet off the ground at 30 feet from the lights so people can drive and not be blinded.

Yeah, stock them have tones of room for improvement, closed deck with the 255 heads worked out pretty good though.

Well there's your problem shoulda got something else. Not gonna tell anyone what truck to buy but if they don't aim headlights that sucks.

Yeah some of them have overbearing political opinions and think they are always right...

Lumens is a terrible measure, we care more about the light projection when it hits the parent. Lux/meters might be better.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Most led kits are not capable of the raw light output, if you run overpowered HIDs common in cheap Chinese kits you are the problem

The cutoff level needs to exist so people can drive trucks and crossovers without having to be concerned with people driving gocarts.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Not gonna blame the victim but if you put your head in front of headlights then complain that they are too bright your the problem.

Not with factory led aiming, every time I start the car they reaim and reallign to meet the standard beam pattern.

Yeah most people buy the cheap Orion, and the brightest cheapest option is chinesium HID upgrades with 75w ballasts. So that's what's common

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or more common people who use HIDs in non hid housings.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You hate HIDs LED lights that come factory installed are not the problem. You hate cheapskates who don't care to install and aim correctly.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The problem is cheap Chinese made HIDs with overpowered ballasts and no way to properly collect the light and aim it.
