I’m assuming you aren’t from the US because they are pretty well known here. Cheetos created the hot Cheetos which is their usual cheese powder but they added cayenne pepper into the mix making them spicy and red. Then other companies started doing the same so now we have hot chips (crisps if you’re speaking UK English) Also certain girls made eating hot chips a large part of their personality

Dude tomatoes are nightshade as in Deadly nightshade. Tomatoes didn’t just choose non-violence. They are that guy who just wants a quiet life of peace after becoming a soldier so devastating that his callsign is synonymous with death to the point of myth. And these scientists are the drunk gangbangers that just see an old man and awaken the monster again. Tomatoes are basically the John Wick of food, Let’s all just leave his dog alone.
Sadly not far off from what I read in the news. They said he bumped into the cop who was approaching him with a weapon drawn spilling his pepper balls so it’s “attempted disarming” and the cops said he punched him repeatedly so they “wouldn’t fall off the bridge”
I don’t want to speak for the other person. And you are completely correct, I think they are saying the same. However there are people out there that think trans people are not “legit “and “born this way” instead they think it’s just a psych issue or failure in the upbringing.
That was my mental state about it too. I couldn’t do my usual flags everywhere, but I could celebrate that we’ve done this once before and can do it again.
Why do so many people think the world works in binary? Can you sell alcohol to minors? Hell can you sell alcohol without a license? What about say cough syrup will cure cancer? Sell tainted water? All of those are market regulations. They don’t mean we don’t have a free market.
I care about it. But I have no sympathy for those people that use it as an excuse to be cruel and horrific to others.Just like I care about keeping my nation safe. I do not support people using that as an excuse to enact racist policies. At the same time I think the “loneliness epidemic” has more to do with lack of community and less to do with “not getting laid”

I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t such an effective propaganda tool. But they do this with everything. Like someone driving a beater car, you slowly spend money putting on new brakes, changing the oil filter, etc. the car is nicer while guy 2 drives. Then he says “guy 1 spent so much money on this” when he gives it to guy 3 it has 2 flats, and is 2k miles past an oil change. Then guy 2 says “The car drove the best when I was in charge. Look how bad the car is now” So people give him back the keys
It’s an ai ad for car restoration. It’s “technically” bondo(body filler) sculpted to look exactly like sex.

You know I’ve heard this argument before and I always think it’s strange for three reasons. 1) tik tok gives you content based on your interests. My feed is probably 50% informative and 50% vapid content, which is probably a fair spread for my interests. 2) Tik tok has a “STEM” feed in the top left which is what you’re saying is in China. So it’s here too, just probably largely ignored. 3) vapid over informative content is ALL of social media.
So the men in power shit on women 364 days a year and shit on the men not in power, and the answer is to make fun of the men not in power?
Unfortunately, nothing about this seems unrealistic. I talked clients out of doing this exact thing and can tell you too many are insistent that they know what they are doing and ultimately find out they were scammed the exact way everyone was warning them about.
Sometimes when you know someone for a long time and only ever know their nickname or last name so suddenly someone says “oh Chris and Marcus are on their way” and someone else has to clarify “they mean Red and Diaz”I’ll think for a brief second how weird it is that I never knew their first names. But then just go right back to having a good time with the boys whether we know anything about eachother or not.
I tell my direct reports that I appreciate everything they do to make my life easier while they are gone but they should not try to anticipate everything. "If we fall apart while you're gone then that means you're a lot more valuable than they realize and we remind them during evaluations" If we need that team member active to function beyond a few weeks we need better training or they need more money, probably both.

Thank you for informing me. I wish this was more common knowledge, I certainly didn’t know this and have been saying he abandoned the rail union.
Even this person is living a “blessed” life. They have no student loans, a paid off car that never needs any maintenance, the house is at the lower end of the market with no issues, and never needs any maintenance.They also must be okay never retiring or having any interests outside of work and literal survival.
*Spoilers* I mean a major plot point is her gf having to sacrifice herself to stop ivy from committing mass murder.

lol so my high school gf and I went to an event where our moms met and at one point for reasons beyond my comprehension decided to discuss how we were conceived. I was a vacation baby and she was the yacht version of the mile high club. Most horrifying conversation ever.
If even like a quarter of the sane people that want to move here do it’ll be deep blue by the next year. I moved here and found plenty of pockets of sane people but we need backup lol
