I'm glad it improved your life, truly. And I'm glad the things you are doing have a real value to the world. Wouldn't it be great if our military was greatly reduced to (actual) defense and useful functions like protecting trade routes? Then we could provide free healthcare, education, and viable paths out of poverty that didn't require risk of death and murdering people.

What we're doing is stupid, violent, and spiteful, but it isn't trying to kill all Cubans. Having worked for a financial services company, I'm almost certain that you're receiving the mail due to over-aggressive legislation that requires them to do so. Companies are *very* aware of how much it costs them to send out paper mail and would like nothing more than to be done with it. But legislators and regulators are rightfully cautious about it since a lot of people will miss critical messages if it is email only.
I remember when this image was made, the person who made it estimated about $70K for one cookie. In this image, it was about $8B worth of cookies, so multiply it by 50-100 for Elon Musk's net worth. Allowing one human being to control that many cookies is fundamentally immoral and bad for society.

Honestly though.. they perform grueling physical labor at a level that an incredible small percentage of people can achieve, destroy their bodies (and brains), can only work for a limited number of their "working years", and provide entertainment to millions of people. The revenue their efforts generate is far in excess of what they're paid because a lot of it goes to billionaire team owners. I'm not mad at them raking it in.

The extent of the right's moral reasoning is "my side good, your side evil". That's literally it. They can hear about an action attributed to Biden, condemn it, hear that it was actually Trump that did it, and immediately have reasons why it was actually good. They aren't evaluating actions, they are looking at who does the actions and judging based on whether they agree with the person. They'll throw out justifications after the fact until they get one that feels good enough.
