Knower of useless things, forgetter of useful things. The universe's sense of irony keeps me from my favorite things (outdoors, creating with my hands, etc), so I live vicariously through the internet and have seen and now know things I can never unsee or unknow ๐. VERY liberal and not open to arguing whether facts fit into beliefs (or whatever other bs people come up with). But very happy to discuss and listen to view points that differ from my own (again, no arguing, name-calling, putting down another's beliefs, etc). It takes a multitude of personalities, beliefs, backgrounds, experiences, and types of people to keep the world round and grounded. Not too many of any and (with the exception of extremists) not too few of any. Be good to each other, even when no one is watching. "Fake it 'til you make it" does work in many areas of life. Smile at people every day (remember to practice your smile so you don't look like you just put on your human suit!) and people will start to smile when they see you (boy, does that feel good when you're down!). Smile at yourself in the mirror or smile to yourself if you're alone. Find 5 good things every day (about yourself and the world around you). Lol, if you're gonna be a hater, people will give you reasons to do that based on their personal character; you don't need to start off hating based on clothes, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, where they were born, etc. Believe me (I'm an ancient bog witch, I know these things), nice people and jerks are everywhere. There's no common denominator for them (I mean, hate groups are full of jerks, duh, the name gives it away). Uh, read or listen to ALL the stuff (as an aside, get multiple sources on a topic before forming an opinion - there are 50 sides to a story and then the truth), try new things a few times (it takes a bit to get the hang of it or for your senses to decide if they like it) before giving up on it (as long as it isn't hurting anyone), try to see things from another perspective (learn about what you don't understand, find out why groups act that way and imagine how you'd react in that situation, etc).... Oh, and I LOVE critters! Furry ones, scaly ones, no legs, multiple legs, wings, burrowing in the ground... just not ticks. They can crackle and pop in flames then swirl around as they drown in the toilet! And if you have weird stuff, I like weird stuff! I've never not been weird ๐ฅฐ I've embraced the weird since I was 4 and never looked ba
Even better! It looks great!
It's normalized in regular life, too, and worse for boys (it's still rare that it's reported, taken seriously, the boy gets harassed for "not liking it"...)
Curiosity killed the cat; satisfaction brought him back
You'll be drinking water from a source a few people are still at the bottom of
6 seasons and a movie!
Same XD. I get stupid around attractive people
That's what started her daughter, Melanie Griffith, on her plastic surgery ride. Melanie was attacked by one (or more) of the lions
I have a Manx version of this cat! He's 18 lbs ๐

Lol, mine was copper! I wanted to save it, but it was considered bio-hazard. I did get to take a good look all over it before and after. It looked exactly the same after 4 years!
Thank you! We (her family and friends) are excited but nowhere near as excited as she is!

(Cis-gender still10 years later) spent months in dresses because he loved the way they felt and set up tea parties for everyone. Lol, he's the one I thought would turn into a girl (but put no pressure or ideas that either was right, just be how he felt)
I went to school with a few kids who turned out to be trans (in the 80s and 90s Mississippi). It was obvious to me when we were in elementary school they had the wrong parts (and I didn't know much about it, if anything). I stood up for them when they were ridiculed while figuring themselves out (not a brag). Then again, all 3 of mine were assigned boys at birth and they all had pink stuff, babies, baby dolls, purses, kitchens, etc, so it could have been obvious and I just missed it. My youngest
My 3 kids are the results of that tiny failure rate of contraceptives. I had an IUD when I got pregnant with the last one!
*known. by that time who were disowned or had to hide it from their parents, so I know she still had fear coming out.
Thank you. We've talked about it since. She masked very well because she grew up in a small, red town and didn't realize being a girl was an actual option despite growing up being taught otherwise; peer pressure is a horrible thing. I've always let my children have access to talk to me about literally anything without fear of repercussion (and I stick to that so they have a safe space). I do feel honored she felt safe enough to tell me by silly meme when she was 16. She'd knew many other kids
Terrorized then murdered
Rent or hire someone with a stump grinder. That's the best and safest way
Thank you โค๏ธ Parenting isn't easy, but loving unconditionally is. My lottery dream is to buy houses for LGBTQ youth (through whatever age as coming out happens at any age) who have no familial support. I've seen so many kids disowned and it breaks my heart that I can't shelter them (other than letting their family know what pos they are)
My gay(andtrans)dar has been 100%accurate for my entire life. But I was surprised when my daughter came out as trans (via meme on text, lol)! I felt like a horrible mother for not realizing it sooner. We've had a hard life and we all thought her ocd, anxiety, and depression were related to that (turns out it was issues with her body, but she didn't know that yet). Most of her problems went away when she was able to come out and start transitioning (and had family who was on board from the start)
My daughter is having bottom surgery next month! She's 1,000 miles away and just rescheduled it for before I can be there (I have to get my other kid ready for senior year starting). I think I'm more nervous than she is about it. The state she was born in won't change anything on her birth certificate (the legal name change is more of an addendum), but she has been able to change her gender markers on her IDs. I wish nothing but the best for all of you โค๏ธ
I love it when you can hear the snowflakes falling on the snow. I live in the south (so it's not often) and I've noticed a lot of neighbors bundle up and sit on the porch for a while to listen to the silence and gentle pats of snowflakes hitting soft snow. Like if someone did the whisper ASMR of a rainstorm.
Why do you think she has a permanent slouch? She did her "job" in return ๐
Yep. I went through a period of not wearing one (didn't care what happened... lots of trauma) but about a month earlier decided I needed to wear one. I got side swiped on the hwy and my car spun around, flipped over, and slid down the hwy. I'd be dead (or seriously injured forever) without the belt. I had to cut it off when I was upside down and break a window to get out. I only had bruises as a result
Shape it's supposed to be
All as a former "skinny" kid who had food forced on me and other food and body traumas (even though I ate a much as everyone else, just twice as slow). And watched my "fat" friends and relatives go through horrific diets and other things from their parents (one had her jaw wired shut when she had braces in 5th grade so she'd have to be on a liquid diet for 2 months, another was given laxatives regularly). I mean, damn. Let a kid be a kid, take care of them properly, and their body will be the
If a kid is obese, take them to a doctor (or multiple if needed) to find out why. If it's not medical, the doctor can set up plans for diet and/or exercise (with pediatric experts in those fields if needed) for the family to have the kid do at home and have medical check ups to make sure the weight loss is healthy. It's super easy to get insurance for kids and almost all of them will cover this type of thing. A lot "overweight" kids lose that weight once puberty hits and they grow up. I say this
ANYONE stranded, no matter what.... they get to help a person and use their trucks and tools; might not like you, but won't leave you stranded). My fam has become all sorts since my real one sucks. I do draw the line at the Trump cult though.
I'm southern and cousins (as well as other non-nuclear relatives) can be anyone from neighbors to friends to people you've grown up with in the same community. If you don't have family, make family (and the more the merrier in most cases), or maybe a family will find you. I live in a red area, am liberal and loud about it, and one thing I can't complain about is there is southern hospitality when it comes to the alone and ones in need (redneck calvary will never leave
