I saw them in London back in the 70s. One of my favorite memories.
Worked in a seafood restaurant and had a lady come in and say she was highly allergic to shrimp. She asked for her fries to be cooked in the fryer not used for seafood and no other seafood on the grill when hers was being cooked. Manage tried explaining oil rotation in the fryer and that we could not stop cooking for other customers when we had over 250 sat at that moment. She left saying she was going to complain to head office.

As a farther I follow your post . I fell a strange feeling of happiness for your posts. I like to see your progress through life. My kids are normal boring humans, but I love them. I am very happy for you.

I played alot of my music to my daughter when she was little ( didn't want her brought up by the TV like I was). She's in her 30s now and still borrows my LPs.

There is a little bulb at the end which is inflated so it doesn't pull out. When they take the tube out they are supposed to deflate it first. Had a student nurse try to pull the tube out without deflating it. It hurt so much that I screamed. She ran and got a RN to help who did it properly. Looking at this picture I have the deepest sympathy for whoever this was.
Oh I remember many of them. Brought back some feelings in places I haven't felt in a long time.
