Grew up in a very tight knit religious neighborhood... Found out years later that probably close to 80% of my friends were being abused. Only found out because they invited me to a support group thing and I had no idea what they were talking about. Two guys went to prison at least.
Small business owner here - if we aren't constantly spending money on Google and Facebook ads then literally no one comes in the door. It sucks. But there is a direct correlation and we really have no other choice. All other marketing strategies have proved ineffective.

Seeing a ton of anti newsom stuff and I don't think it's all coming from the left. He's probably the most likely contender so they are trying to make him sound bad. We are in the middle of a massive national crisis so any port in a storm should probably be the mentality. I wouldn't trust anyone who is opposed to anyone who can stand up to trump. They might not be your ideal number one candidate, but survival should be the priority here.

What makes my blood boil is that I have parental controls on all of my kids electronics to limit the amount of YouTube and TikTok they watch. Except I cannot put any controls on their school computer. I have no control at all over what they utilize those computers for and they have no time limits or restrictions beyond obscene material. It drives me crazy that I have to literally be staring at their screen to determine whether they are actually doing homework or not.
The name is Dr Serkan Aygın. He is kind of the face of the practice but I don't think he even does the surgeries anymore. He just meets with you and tells you what to expect and then there are an army of surgeons and techs that work underneath him that actually perform the procedure. I was super impressed at their skill level and professionalism. They take it very seriously.
I used to do this stuff all the time... Now it gives me horrible anxiety. No idea what changed.
As a surgeon myself, I went to Turkey for the hair transplants. Including flights and bording it was still about half the price of what I would get it done in the US. I've worked in dozens of hospitals and I have never seen a hospital as well organized and run like a well-oiled machine as the one in Turkey.
Trying to find an elegant way to explain factors of 5... Like 100 / 20 is 5 and 45 / 5 is 9... It makes sense in my head but the explanation is kind of meh. Someone help.

So this file specifically doesn't seem credible. Even the agent reporting noted that the gentleman filing the report was "unbalanced". I'm absolutely not excusing anyone and fuck anyone that is actually involved, but I wouldn't put a lot of stock in this specific file. I've met a lot of schizophrenics and I get those kind of vibes here
That's a very broad generalization for the most watched steaming platform in the world - by a huge margin.
The most horrendous and wonderful drink for those of us trying to get off of caffeine that is nearly impossible to get anywhere else.
It's fun that they are dancing, but don't worry, there's a million other ways to be a good dad... Just wish I knew what they were because I feel like a failure too.
Honestly what choice do they have with regards to raising the prices though? Have you been to a Disney park lately? The crowds are so insane constantly it's hard to do anything. So yeah, raising the prices is good for their bottom line, but I genuinely think they are actually doing it as a crowd reduction strategy.
I'm not so optimistic. There are way too many people everywhere that wholeheartedly support everything that is going on. I feel outnumbered 10-1. It feels hopeless sometimes.

Yeah... I'm considered an expert in my field and I have zero interest talking about it. I still teach students occasionally but I never go out of my way to talk about it.
I'm not an expert on the topic but there's an alt national Park service social media account that is staying on top of all the horrendous things going on and calling the administration out every chance they get.
I know I'm late to the party here, but as an orthopedic surgeon those numbers are a bit off (though not everywhere is the same). I get roughly 2% of whatever the patient is billed for a given procedure. Also I left school with about 650K in student loans.I would be on board with cutting out the middlemen, pointless admins, VCs, etc. It would save tens of billons. But most docs won't get on board because their pay has already significantly dropped over the last 20 years.
