I enjoy gifs of dogs and crying while looking at gifs of dogs.

My favorite part was an officer saying, under oath, that after hearing Afroman sing about fucking his wife, he can never look at her the same way again

Personally I’m praying for actual AI. Like every single study has shown that humans are more productive when we feel happy and fulfilled. So even if we’re enslaved by the machines, a robot overlord would actually improve our working conditions.

I was borderline libertarian 20 years ago, now leftist because I listened to the people around me. We do exist. But I was never a True Believer, and I think that’s where the real problem lies. There is no line at which they stop believing in him. Even during the GW era, which was pretty bad, they weren’t full-blown cultists.

Absolutely true. Counterpoint: maybe the stepfather could get his own house in order before he starts worrying about what’s going on in other people’s

Idk man I don’t think the cult is falsifiable... Ask most if there’s anything he could do that would stop them supporting him and they say he would never do anything like that

I think he went past political necessity and into praising a Nazi, but that’s me

Jesus, this. If they would admit their racism, homophobia, transphobia etc, you could have an actual discussion about it. But instead we have to act like we’re talking about immigration law, or k-12 girls’ sports, or whatever other straw man they’ve set up today.

Are you citing the portion of the Wikipedia article labeled “conspiracy theories”?

I don’t like Balatro but at least it’s not another slay the spire clone?

I think 90% of them are chasing another indie game’s success. The meme could’ve been about soulslikes, metroidvanias, or pixel games and been just as accurate.

And here I think roguelikes are the laziest way to implement a video game. I don’t mind the replayability of having a roguelike mode but it feels like lots of indie games are chasing monster train and slay the spire

If that were the case the meme would be about monstergirl visual novels

You forgot about soulslike metroidvanias

Oh or remember that time that Pam Bondi was FL AG and was investigating Trump for fraud because of Trump university and then he “donated money to her campaign” and charges were dropped and now she’s US AG?

You didn’t even mention the time he mandated that every Floridian receiving government assistance undergo a drug screen (only at the screening chain his wife owned)

It’s wild to me because across the political spectrum, most Americans are unhappy, struggling to make ends meet. We’re just divided on whether that’s because: a. wages have been stagnant since 1960 while wealth inequality has exploded, b. Because brown people exist

The headline of the article is he authorized another $8 billion but I guess you can only read articles that support your position

Jesus dude which part of “what happens if the president disobeys congress” isn’t getting through

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok dude we sent $17.9 billion dollars in replacement parts you’re right that makes sense he did all he possibly could

“The Biden administration has demanded that Israel increase humanitarian aid into the enclave. But in November, citing some limited progress, it declined to limit arms transfers as it threatened to do if the situation did not improve.”

Oh ok so you’re gonna do the “I don’t agree so your source is invalid” thing, alright man. Your choice. I guess being right is more important than being accurate. Best of luck my dude, we’re mostly on the same side, I just don’t agree with defending a war criminal because he “sorta tried a little”. Night man

Right but as we’ve established, it was a drop in the bucket of what we were still continuing to send. Again, I ask, if he’d refused to deliver any more weapons to Israel whatsoever, hypothetically, what do you think happens next?

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I do agree about weapons stockpiles, but even if we made them count their bullets rather than letting them spray and pray, that’s *something*, right? It’s more than “we’ll continue to send nearly all the weapons we normally do”

Again, we’re witnessing this now in real time. The judicial branch has ordered action but can’t actually do anything besides telling the executive branch that *it* has to do something. Which it can then stall. Your point about Trump’s congressional support is why he isn’t getting impeached, but it doesn’t refute the point that Congress doesn’t have the power to enforce directives

Congress is not part of the chain of command for military service members whatsoever. They cannot give direct orders to an admiral to send a navy ship to Israel loaded with weapons. If the President orders the military not to do something that cannot be overturned without political action, which would delay arms deliveries. I think he was afraid of alienating Jewish voters so he wanted to put a little pressure on Israel but didn’t want to take too hard of a stand.
