I'm a programmer and use it regularly for the simpler, repetitive programming tasks like adding tests or simple expansions in classes where the time-gain is literally just in speed of execution. It also helps in writing documentation though it's usually too verbose for my liking.

That's the direction the dietician took with me. She does not do diets, she said we're going to change my eating habits. And so I did, funny thing is I have never been less hungry in my life because the things I do eat are just so much higher quality. Started just over a year ago and am down just about 35lbs, could stand to lose another 40. Perhaps not huge amount but it's about progress and taking control of my weight, which I did. I am happy.
Did not work on my horse. The faintest whiff of something she didn't know or she associated with medicine and she'd straight up refuse to eat anything up to, and including, her absolute favorite kind of snacks. Giving her medicine was always a struggle.

You are correct. After V1 is reached during take-off (point at which it's no longer safe to try to stop on the runway) pilots will take most problems up in the air. Priority one is gaining altitude so they're intentionally ignoring the problem until they've reached a minimum safe altitude. At which point they'll address the problem, contact atc, and turn back to land. Source: am hobby pilot who happens to read too much.

It's not about what their supposed use-case is but how popular they are. Trucks and big SUVs dominate American roads, big SUVs and big trucks are all that US companies are capable of making these days apparently. Other parts of the world do not care for these stupid landyachts and don't buy them. But in stead of making something good people want they'd rather be mad about it.

The only digital menu I've ever kinda liked using was in a food court . Just sit down, go to the website, order what you want, pay online using debit or credit, you'll get an email or text when your food is ready, show the text at pickup, done. Downside was that you had to give them either your phone number or email address to send the notification.
EV batteries are proving that they're able to last much longer than initially expected. So pretty long I'd say.
Subscriptions and bigger online purchases only (like plane tickets, hotels, rentals, expensive electronics, ...) because the insurance on credit cards is often much better than on debit. But I also pay it off, in full, every month.

It's even worse than that. Teslas use a Monocular Depth Estimation to measure distances. As the name implies this tries to estimate distances using a single camera source. Which is cheaper and easier to implement than using binocular systems and also much more error prone.
