This is all part of the same problem. I don't know a single person who voted for Trump, so I can't imagine how this happened. How do I not run into these people that clearly outnumber the folks I know?

This a post that causes me pain - while I wasn't accused of using AI on a paper I received a B- on my final grade and the prof said it was "obvious" who used AI. I have never used AI although I have used grammarly. I am used to A's so this sucked. I didn't do anything wrong.

I have a great life, too, and am very grateful for it. My work is tolerable to the point where I am not looking for something new, but it would be great if it matched a similar satisfaction level. Happy to see the positivity!

While it is true that nonprofit orgs (NPOs) can be converted into for-profits (FP), the revenue obtained during the NPO status are subject to the non-distributional constraint, which means that shareholders or others cannot be enriched by the revenue. When a NPO converts to a FP, typically a conversion foundation is formed with reserved assets that then becomes a granting body unrelated to the FP to benefit the community. Most commonly observed when NPO hospitals become FP. Totally legal.

I don't think I can handle this as previous years have roved.

If you had 6-8 million dollars, you would spend an awful lot of time worrying about losing it. I see this all the time as a professional fundraiser. On the flip side, people with +$100 million worry about being able to spend it well philanthropically. It's all relative.

It's called saccadic eye movement and helps with reading speed and comprehension. Totally normal.

OK, so here is what people need to understand - "natural" disasters will continue to increase in number and ferocity. Most EV disasters will be flooding-related because warm air holds more moisture. Even worse is that houses destroyed wildfires are not insurable for future buyers. California is fucked and it makes me sad.

"In the history of homo sapiens, the book is an anthropological development, similar essentially to the invention of the wheel." Looks like I have plenty of good books in my future, which may explain my love life?

I'm sorry seems so inadequate, but that I understand is another tragedy. My 17yo nephew was killed in a car accident around this time 3 years ago. He and the other passenger in the backseat died.

Panic attacks can be short circuited by sour candy (think Warheads extreme sour). And for an unrequested bonus - leg cramps can be short-circuited by pickle juice. These work more quickly than standard meds; almost instantly.

The point is the government can't/won't meet all of society's needs, especially those that are niche or fall outside the interests of the median voter.

Exactly, it's called cause-related marketing and it works as a sound business principle within the FP and NPO sectors.

Wait, charities suck at fixing the problem, so let the government do it? Did you know that the government partners with many nonprofits who deliver services that fall outside the median voter domain, which is the intent of the 3 sectors in the U.S.*

I am a fundraising professional and this type of appeal/opportunity raises quite a cash for area nonprofits. Typically the company also gives a check as well. Just ignore it if it doesn't suit you, but it's a good source of income and awareness building for NPOs.
