A crazy, chubby little fairy from Austria~
Thank you!
In the german translation from Martin Luther, he mistranslated the word for "young woman" as virgin, thus starting the virgin cult for Mary
This is how my cat screams when she wants to go outside, but I won't open the door (because it's dark outside/raining/too cold)
I was like "Where do I know that dude from?" - of course, it's Beau
Same here, this was the first time that I was really invested. And I wish I could adopt Alis, but I'm from Europe :(
Currently reading the 2nd one!
I was four when Freddy passed, and I remember saying "Oh I wonder how Dad will react" when hearing about it on the radio at my grandma's place. My father was a huge Queen fan. I don't remember his reaction, but I remember saying this
I mean, the right picture looks awfully fake, like plastic petals
We watched The Ring on Halloween 2003, and just after the movie ended, the phone rang. It was the host's dad, wanting to know how we were doing :D
Apparently, in the 80s everyone thought so
We owned a flat, but nobody in my family wanted to live there. It was the flat my brother and I grew up in, and it had a lot of bad memories attached to it. If we had rented it out, I know that all work would have been done by my brother, who at that time was in burnout. So we sold it. Not the best financial decision, but the best for our mental health
I love love LOVE Socks!
Similar here, we had typing lessons after I stared typing on the computer and having my own system. My first teacher wanted to train it out of me in favor of the ten-finger-system, but I was so so slow then. My second teacher saw that it was easier for me with my system, and trained me to not need to look at the keyboard anymore
We also have laws regarding names (meaning that when you get the first paperwork done, your name has to be approved) and the worst one I've read was a sorry fella called "Chester Justin" born in 2001...
My first language is german, and I forgot the english word for grapefruit, so I asked my english teacher during written exam. Here we also say grapefruit, not Pampelmuse. I only had the word "pompelmo" in my head
I really hope Bobbie's got to stay, she loves KfD soooo muuch! It would break my heart T-T
Had just changed school and we were still doing some prep work for classes, it was like 2pm in the afternoon. A friend told me what happened, I couldn't believe it. Then it was on the news all night long. I was 14 back then, still remember it vividly
It's a really dark movie with cyberpunk/dystopian elements. Fun fact: as a kid, I only watched the german dub and they censored it with funny words and sounds
Our father did the cooking, he was a trained chef. But all I remember about his cooking is his nagging that we weren't appreciating it enough, or that it took so much time to plan the meals - which resulted in me hating to think about "What's gonna be for dinner tonight?"
My father was very similar, very focused on himself and setting his wantings first. He expected us to be thankful for all the things we got. Once when we told him that we didn't know it any different, how could we be the ones to say "Oh we really got it good here"? He got very angry at this
It would be so much easier if people understood "Hey sorry, I completely forgot because it wasn't in sight range"
Two friends of me make funny button-up shirts and socks: https://kabujiro.com/">com/">https://kabujiro.com/ and https://store.neophobica.com/de
I think it's sad that today's fashion got so boring and colourless. I wish men had more colours to choose from. Jewel tones, while being trendy for some time, slowly faded too :(
Yeah I get that, and I have the same issues. I'm testing clips now, to offer to switch them for people. I don't have an online shop, only Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fritchfrizzard/
I also have pins and magnets!
Joakim Brodén, ladies and gentlemen
Lina knows that we get up early, so she starts jumping around at around 4am. We call her Flummi (rubber ball). The face of no regrets:
That was the first movie we were allowed to watch and we loved it?! I mean, some of the nuances went over our heads like the centaurs being paraded for fornication, but the dinosaurs were always our favourite. And I loved the Sound (it was called "der Ton" in german, never saw the original)
In Vienna we only have sporadic siren tests, but we live close to Lower Austria and there the sirens are tested every Saturday at noon. We can hear them
Ooooh, Dinosword sounds amazing!
Thank you!
