They gotta wait until after midterms so they don't term out Vance. That's literally it. The moment they can remove Trump, install Vance as President, but not have it count as either of Vance's two terms so that he can still run twice is the goal.
Loopholes only exist because the Courts allow them. The fact that we allow a judge to say, yes you may have done a -bad thing- that is against the law, but, technically, the law doesn't specify that you cannot do -bad thing- on a Sunday while in purple dress means that, actually, you didn't do anything bad is the problem. We shouldn't be so focused on needing to pedantically write every single law to avoid any possible quibble of leeway but instead have a system that cares about justice.
I mean, Bruce Wayne could use his money to actually invest in Gotham's infrastructure and social programs; lifting much of the city's population out of poverty and curbing the rampant homelessness and drug addition that is often portrayed there. Instead he spends trillions of dollars on fancy bat-gadgets and surveillance systems that cover every corner of the globe so he can play at Batman.
You can prove people were there. You can prove children were raped on the island, but unless you have a direct video or piece of evidence of the person in question directly admitting to the crime; it simply won't pass through the courts. It just won't. To a degree this is good, but, that's how a justice system works. You have to prove they did it, not have a solid allegation that they probably did it. Which is why public opinion is supposed to correct these things, but that has clearly failed
It's a cute idea, but it wouldn't change or do anything. I get it, I want this to, but the reason that all of this is being slow walked in a way that people hate is that there simply is never going to be enough legal evidence to prove without a reasonable doubt that these people raped children. Bill Clinton can testify, under oath, as much as he wants that he personally saw Trump rape someone and it wouldn't result in a conviction. There has to be video or photos even then it would be tough.
You know whyte.
She does have a real job though. She's basically the Chief Marketing Officer of a non-profit organization that receives donations from all around the world, including governments. She's wildly successful at her job.
Yeah, this is very sad to watch. That bird needs more water space!
Mischievous Marvin did make an appearance. While there could have been a cut edit, he only took a sip of water and nuts from the ground.
Ad Hominem is also used incorrectly. The opening "I conclude" implies that the prior panels of the comic happened in sequence and are being used as evidence for the assertion "you are malfunctioning." As with all fallacies, it is -irrelevant- attacks on character: ie "you went to community college so your degree doesn't count so your opinion doesn't count." Saying "you only debate using logical fallacies so you shouldn't debate" is a relevant attack on character which matters to the debate.
It's a bot arguing with a bot. Neither are real people.
"The press" hasn't failed, it has done exactly what it was intended to do. This person is correct in their take and that is all intentional. FOX News was created by Roger Ailes specifically because he believed that Nixon would not have had to resign if the press reported 'the conservative take.' And thus 'conservative news' was born. "The press" never failed anything, someone just went out of their way to create a corrupt one.
The left out the best part. His wife responded by reminding everyone she was an undocumented immigrant at one point.
Optics? The main political party in the United States wants to literally put gay people in concentration camps. They already have stripped away the legal protections for gay people in the workspace. So, tell me, what is so important about the optics of gay people not offending straight people? Why not focus on the people -actively- causing harm to a community you claim to support? Instead you are out here preaching how the minority of people being oppressed need to behave better. That's fucked
You are framing it as suffered, as though it is past tense. As though the suffering is over and there are not still a large contingent of straight people that hate gay people. And I mean hate. They outright kill gay people. Ain't a single straight person been killed or fired or beaten for being straight. I don't see how straight people being upset with jokes is on the same level as gay people being beaten to death by straight people.
Owner responsibility? So if the illegal immigrant commits a crime, you'll hold the farm owner responsible, right? Right!?
There is no rule given by God which states that a Priest is not able to tell about crimes confessed to them. God, nor the Bible, does not hold up that confessing your sins absolves you of your earthly responsibilities. God's forgiveness does not forego earthly punishment. It is sickening that Catholics try to fight for otherwise.
Everything about this is an irredeemable curse. At no point was it a good idea or execution.
Which book?
We ain't never enforced the Constitution. We violated the Constitution constantly in terms of dealing with Native Americans. The Federal government constantly turned their eyes away from the flagrant Constitutional violations, particularly of the southern states, during the Reconstruction era, Jim Crow era, and Civil Rights era. Oh, remember Bush specifically having GitMo to avoid the Constitution? The Constitution is only upheld once all other options of avoiding it have been exhausted.
Y'all act like this is new. Southerns might have lost the civil war, but southern leadership won it. In under 10 years, they had taken back voting control in Congress and forced the President to end Reconstruction. And the southern states have predominately directed national policy since the mid 1870's and continue to do so to this day. The south, unequivocally, won the civil war.
5 year old article and nothing has changed.
Ahh yes, once again blame the Democrats for something that Republicans did.
America really just couldn't stand black people, could it? Literally what Michele Obama did years ago which FOX claimed was totally un-American.
Do people not find it odd that the current President, only 100 days into his 1,460 day term, is holding a political rally? Didn't you -just- win? Shouldn't you be, IDK, governing?
Honestly? I want professional jurors. People's whose entire job is impartiality. Who study law, ethics, and/or psychology. I want trained jurors who -want- to be there. Who know how to be and have been vetted to be both impartial and morally sound. Make it an actual profession instead of just random people who typically don't even want to be there. It isn't that the random people don't have the capacity, it just that, without their desire to be attentive, they can never do a good enough job.
I'm sorry to say, there is a very good chance that you get him :(
Bacon is usually one of the highest. I've seen it up to 300% over purchase price for the store easily.
Ha, that was actually may favorite Calvin and Hobbes joke. Calvin sells Earth to some aliens and they get really upset because of the seasons and winter and demand that Calvin fix the tilt of the Earth to correct this flaw immediately.
