These are conversations American adults are having all over the place. When do we decide we have to take action, and what action do we take? My husband and I toil over this, almost every night. We are scared for our children. We vote. We sign petitions. We've protested. We try to educate others. Now we are arming ourselves in case we need to protect each other. But we are not violent people. We are truly scared.
