He personally came out ending the COVID era benefits of the American Rescue Plan in 2023. He was not reluctant to do so.
"Oh no, we can't have THAT..." Those programs were allowed to expire under Biden. Not his best look. This is not in support of Trump. But we have to be honest about what the priorities are of those we have supported. It's important to recognize we can continue to do better, even when it's 'our candidate'. REPEAT: Since this seems to be a difficult concept. Remaining critical of those you support is important to integrity and to progress.
That is certainly the correct interpretation. No way that could ever backfire.

Good for you, soldier. Stay safe. And PLEASE consider moving your plan forward. I don't think you'll like yourself if you stay in even a day longer. You're human. Don't make the mental scars you already are going to have worse. (Again, I don't know your precise situation, just know I want the best for all of you. Two of my close friends were active service members in the old school Iraq conflicts in the early 2000s. They are...not happy about what they did.)

I don't want to make it any harder for you guys than it has to be, but there's going to be a point where you have to remember that 'just following orders' will not save you from Nuremburg Mark II. Because I think that's where it will one day be headed. And also think... do you want to be one of those guys who responds that way? That you were just following orders? I know it's hard and coming from a civilian, I probably sound like a dick. But I care about you guys. Really, I do.
Rally your fellow soldiers and just start deserting. Nobody sane here in the US would blame you.

While I do agree that there is some similar rhetoric there, I'd be careful to jump too far ahead. These are big things to push through. The situation with Mueller and the Trump investigation is that there was enough to actively move ahead. Right now, the lack of a budget IS a fair point. KEEP REMINDING HIM, THOUGH. Just try for positive pressure. But that's just my opinion and I am not in your shoes. Stay strong:)
I hope Mamdani comes through for you guys. And that you keep pushing him to come through for you guys. Even decent people can get bogged down. They need people to keep them awake and aware.
Don't get me started on the chucklefucks who think asking people to think of those with PTSD during 4th of July celebrations is an infringement on everything they hold sacred....
