i know, still the republicans use Gerrymandering much more... also it may be "your" country, its not mine.
have you seen a television program called "Fox News" from about 2008-2016?
they do too, the problem is, the republicans do it much better, since they have no shame/ sense of integrity. (even less than the democrats)
seems some have forgotten the dangers of nationalism, but most people seem to be reasonable about it, thats a big change from 100 years ago
