Yeah to get a good xlb takes a full day of work and at my skill level (which is okayish) it takes a dozen or two to really get into a groove
Potstickers and other varieties. I have definitely made soup dumplings but they are tricky as all hell so adding the frozen part is tough :(

My great gma’s go-to line was “say fuzzy pickles!” Also she’d only call poop “grunty” to avoid cussing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The ice pushing these visible chunks down is likely crystal clear, light wouldn’t reduce much.
Directional freezing, freezes top down and pushes impurities to the bottom. Can do the same in a lidless cooler in a freezer for clear ice!
You have killer ventilation. 3/
cleaning it a ton after. Also, cast acrylic cuts better and smells less terrible than extruded, costs more but totally worth it unless 2/
Fairly straightforward, I’d leave paper on for simple cuts but remove for engraving and test it for how clean it engraves so you aren’t 1/
To mix it up. Either way keep going! Indifference = relapse risk
Refuge is good but can get repetitive with meditations, just like 12 steps can get repetitive with traditions, so maybe a combo of both 1/

Highly recommend NOT doing this. Once tried to gather some hail and poured some 25 yr Scotch on it, it was terrible. Has to pour it out.
I have had plenty of luck with paper-backed cast acrylic cutting without fire, but that plastic on extruded acrylic is pretty awful.
