Haha i do thay every day. I do heating and cooling so i see 6+ houses every day and im constantly trying to gain insights into what im trying to do with my home vs what i can afford haha. Im actually building a hobbit home tool shed with all the dirt ive excavated!

Yes, thanks im doing a 2x6 wall with staggered studs and rock wool to combat noise on bedroom walls. And yes theres a small 4x4 closet i forgot to draw in the bottom right of that room. Im doing a loft bed in there as well so i can put a dresser and other stuff. Its a kids room.

I have lots of room and the horizontal runs take up more room but i can dig them without requiring the depth as opposed to vertical loops, which require well drilling equipment. Also work for a great company that gave me a good price on an geothermal HVAC system. So hopefully the energy savings from heating and cooling allow me to afford solar 1 day!

It is. I assume brass? It's obviously cast, maybe bronze?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You guys were 100% correct. Took cover off and it was filled with wasp nest. I should have taken a pic. It works great now. Thank you!

The air intake being, that big two inch pvc pipe?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks for all your help

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is intake side. It's like a 4 inch pipe with no access to birds or anything

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The left one is the air intake, I followed right one and you can clearly smell it's exhaust blows out that open hole in picture. Intake is right next to it

This is the only pvc and it appears to be a Conde sate drain is that possible?

Isn't the air intake the duct that blows into the unit?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's the issue. With the panel cover off, I taped down door switch, thermostat calls for heat. Inducer fan comes on, flame rod comes on, gas blows out and lights, then the blower kicks on and everything works. But when I put the burner box cover back on the flame sensor heats up but it fails to blow gas. So this is why I think it's an issue with the pressure switch? I'm not sure how to diagnose just that.
