It does make for a very good breakfast

No he doesn't, he has two beverages and a bottle of water. A beverage is defined as any drink that isn't water.

I was really hoping he'd steal the guy's bike too

Jim Henson was ridiculously talented as a puppeteer, and in addition to that he was also incredibly talented at creating the characters themselves and look, in voice, and in personality. And honestly if all of those parts weren't coming together perfectly and clicking the Muppets would not be nearly as magical. But, Jim Henson was just that ridiculously talented that he could do all of that and bring together that kind of magic.

Death is only an ending, not a punishment. Somebody needs to capture Netanyahu and deliver him to the Hague so that his crimes against humanity can be tabulated, he can rot in jail for the remainder of his life in the name of some small modicum of justice, and his name turned to shit for all of history before his worthless eyes.

Wait so all the alien planets WON'T look like a chilly deciduous forest anymore?

Yeah publicizing the students that failed would be wildly unethical. The people who stood up were recruited for a practical joke.

Notably, a practical joke that he was able to pull off because the entire class passed. He wouldn't be allowed to lie to anybody, saying that they all got a c-minus or better when some people in the audience might not have.

Also, didn't NASA clarify that suborbital hops in a craft that requires no human interaction to complete its flight does not qualify one to call themselves an astronaut? I guess it's not illegally protected term but I remember this being a thing when Bezos first flew on his worthless dick rocket. NASA clarified the definition of astronaut specifically so that he didn't count, which means she shouldn't either.

No, Jackass had completely normal people doing this dumb shit on camera. Not even for likes or clout or anything, there wasn't any place they could upload it yet.

Yeah, that sounds incredibly ridiculous. Far more likely there was a rabbit on the runway that got sucked into the engine during the takeoff roll and they were above their "V1" speed - The speed calculated by the flight computer at which they no longer have enough runway left to stop, meaning that they are committed to the takeoff. So, even with an engine failure above that speed, if they still have one good engine then they continue the takeoff.

So what? There's also modeling good behavior for newcomers to the field.

#21 you know what's my really crazy opinion, is that I think that people with criminal records should be allowed to vote. I think that they should set up a polling station in every jail and that convicted and imprisoned criminals should be allowed to vote as residents of wherever the prison is.

Are they not governed by the laws of that place? I think it's a basic human right to be able to have at least that minimum say in who makes the laws that govern you.

I appreciate that when they were demonstrating her doing it incorrectly, they were doing so with an empty bar so she's still being as safe as reasonably possible.

Fuck cultures that gatekeep food. What a stupid pastime, telling other people what they can and cannot eat. What they can and cannot do with the wrong damn bodies.

The Minnesota Vikings have made it to the NFC championship game a ridiculously large number of times and yet they've only ever made it into the super bowl four times, all four of those were back in the '70s, and they didn't win any of them.

When you can consistently come close but you can't quite clinch the win you start to wonder if maybe actually there is a problem.

Understandable, have a nice day

The problem is that resigning isn't a good move either. There's no redemption in the modern Republican party. His career is fucked if he bails, and it's fucked if he stays and allows more of this shit to go down.

If he resigns there is the possible saving grace in the future that he will be on the hook for less criminal charges, should some hypothetical future administration try to actually bring justice to this farce.

That ramp looks like it's made out of 2x4s which tells me a really big story about accessibility because that seems like a product that would be useful for a whole lot of people who use wheelchairs, mobility scooters, anything heavy that might need to be put into or taken out of a car.

And this person or somebody close to them made one out of lumber from a hardware store because that product didn't exist.

They're going with a strategy of "we don't have a majority in either house, exactly what the fuck is it that you think we have the power to do?"

Bro that is a functional alcoholic right there you want to stay the fuck away from that. That is a mess that will result in trauma and therapy for themselves and everybody around them.

They say it's about to note you don't play and, sometimes, maybe the notes you did play should have been the ones you didn't play.

Do you know what the term "anecdotal evidence" means? And, you recognize that this person is literally 1% of the Senate and just under 0.2% of all of Congress?

Why is public service mutually exclusive with a lengthy career? There are plenty of jobs which are public service and are also a full-on career. There's military officers who served for 40 years. Bureaucrats who've been in public service for decades. It happens all the time.

How does that statement any have any bearing on anything I said?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not? I want my political Representatives to be good at their job and generally the more time somebody spends doing something the better they get at it. I certainly don't want 85-year-olds doing the job, much like I don't want 85-year-olds doing most jobs, but legislating and governing are absolutely skill sets of their own and more experienced politicians should, all other things being equal, do better at it.
