I seem to remember the first step being about admitting you have a problem. It's step one because the work can't start until you realize what the problem is. Leaving maga isn't enough. People leave maga for plenty of reasons. I'm not a political science expert, but I would bet a lot of them are leaving only because it's affecting them with no intention of attempting to undo the harm they've caused. Forgiveness is not possible when people have been killed because of their actions.

From what I heard, the only regret he had was not doing it in heels.
I think that was largely the point of picking him for the jokes. Some of those jokes felt like they wouldn't have looked out of place if they decided to film them for the show. He was effectively a nobody with this unstoppable tough guy persona that only looked tough in the context of the show. When we shined the light on him, he used it to show us who he really was. There's a reason the jokes fell off as hard as they did and not just because the man got old.

I think I remember there being something in the news about Biden negotiating new border security laws with the Mexican president, because I remember Trump saying that he had negotiated new terms of border security but it was what Biden had already put in place.
