Ontario is huge, the cost really varies. Eastern and Northern Ontario are still pretty cheap compared to GTA. Where is cheaper? MB? NB?

Sometimes chickens can tell an egg isn't growing properly and will push it out before it rots and explodes. Also they're quite dumb

It could also be pollen mixed in with the honey, if they have a very small batch and crushed everything together to strain it could happen

It either needs to be strained through a filter or it could be 'creamed honey' where crystalized honey is added and mixed in on purpose

I don't think the point is to leave animals to die, it's to encourage people to find an experienced shelter for hurt/ abandoned wildlife
