There is the least amount of air in compressed glacier ice then other ice, but it's there. Microscopically compressed to where it 1/2
If the air is cold and weather stable, like no precip, then it will stay blue-ish
There is a shit ton of air bubbles in glacial ice. Put a cube in a glass of water and you'll get about the same sound as rice krispies 1/2
