I know at least two former Republican Alaska governors who voted for Obama- that Western moderate frontier republican model has broken down almost complete, and I agree, Alaska is returning more to its roots by increasingly rejecting the far-right.

There are so many ways I tried to avoid saying this.
I'd give it a 1 in 5 chance. Anchorage just turned away its far right mayor, the folks in villages often vote blue; Homer was gerrymandered because otherwise its state reps would not be right wing Republicans. Ranked Choice Voting I think enhanced turnout generally.
