what are you doing here? there's nothing for you here. you should go.
The original cover haunts me.
This guy looks like some unholy mixture of AI and wax sculpture.
Leopards, faces, etc, but can we talk about Lopez-Lopez as a surname? Someone laughed their ass off when they made that decision.
I don't have synesthesia (at least I don't think so), but those things do all have the same... brain-feel?
Wish I'd known about this 20 years ago, had a cat with megaesophagus. Though the poor guy also had laryngeal paralysis, so might not have helped.
K, guess I'm gonna suggest This Is How You Lose the Time War (by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone), because it is frankly more of a romance than it is sci-fi.
The romance definitely felt like a sub-sub-plot, though.
Do you have issues with the segments rotating?

I've always been amused by the fact that they made his character name Sam Bell, when Sam Rockwell would have been so on-the-nose for a moon miner.
Doctor Evil/Mini Me vibes.
I saw someone claim that the change in Ciri's VA was due to DEI. Make it make sense.
Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise.
I feel like I don't often see a woman hoverhanding.
You can practically see it overheating.
never again, get that cursed thing out of here
I find tucking a pillow under my chest/pelvis (on the same side as the raised knee) solves this.
God no. Side sleeping is what I do when I wanna fuck my shoulder and wake up with no feeling in my arm.
Y'know, I rewatched Elektra after Deadpool & Wolverine, and honestly? Not that awful. I thought the super short runtime held it back more than anything, too many characters with no time to properly develop. Turn it into a miniseries, 6-8 episodes or so, and you might have something.Original Daredevil, on the other hand, was a stinker. (Except for Colin Farrell who is just having so much fun.)
That's actually the premise of a novella, "The Deep" by Rivers Solomon.
All language is dumb because it evolved naturally. Nobody sat down and designed any of this nonsense. At best, we've codified what already existed in a futile attempt to slow further weird shit. In short: Give rizz, yeeter.
Note the spikes in violent crime during the 2016 and 2020 election years. But I'm sure that's got nothing to do with Trump. /s
When you say, "showing their true colors," you mean "acting like Republicans," and I find that hilarious.
Oof, this is tough. You're got the drive that forms unions (apes together strong) failing at scale, because when the various smaller unions for a trade band together, in this case forming the UAW, they create a company... so then that company unionizes. And then perhaps they decide to band together with other union employees unions to create a massive Union Worker's Union (UWU), creating a company. Which then unionizes. It gets all recursive.
I think you may have misunderstood - it isn't managers trying to unionize. The UAW is huge, so it has employees. Those employees are trying to unionize.
I may just suck at games, but Redemption kicked my ass hard.
I'm glad you recognize that. I hope you're able to find the time and support you need to work on and process the things you're feeling.
