Have you tried doing some basic napkin math on this? 1 million people like you provide 100 million in revenue. Say 10 million like you, which is **not** a stretch (just look at how Chris Brown is doing), and that's 20% of their total value. So yes, you and all the other apathetic people like you are contributing to their continued existence. And if I'm being honest, I don't give a fuck that you shop there occasionally. I care that you tried to justify it like your morals are still fully intact.

And the millions of customers with the same sentiment as you.

It would have been better if the article was linked, but many people have put tens of thousands of dollars into the stock and they're losing it. They are dumb, but doctors and other people you would generally categorize as smart have shown time and again that they are, in fact, dumb. Was that not one of key lessons learned from COVID? It certainly was for me.

I looked again, and it appears I can resume donating. Good to know.

I lived in Germany during a mad cow outbreak. I donated every chance I could until that rule came down the pipe.

"Not only have I volunteered for the military 100% of my own free will, but I am requesting to get sent to the burn pits!"

Yes it is voluntary. But who typically volunteers, and how many choices do they have once they do? https://lamborn.house.gov/media/press-releases/cancelling-student-loans-would-stifle-military-recruitment-efforts A congressman literally saying that if the US government helps its own fucking citizens, military recruitment will go down, and that's **why** helping is a bad thing.

I haven't dealt with this personally and could easily be wrong, but I feel that anyone who received the cremated remains of a loved one in a plastic bag did so exactly because they couldn't afford a service like this. I don't see how it's a solution to the presented problem.

Hard disagree from me. And I enjoyed TR 2013. I don't think I made it 45 minutes in.

I believe that there's a Fresh Prince clip where Carlton takes offense to this very notion.

It's largely because they don't pay for what they should. I would call myself a leftie, and my thing is I want my tax money used to benefit the people, and not corporations. This is a generalization so take it with salt, but righties tend to not want to pay at all. John Stewart has a great episode on how our tax dollars are misused.

No. That's a Truth Social post. It's a de-federated Mastadon instance. And Mastadon is an open-source twitter clone that supports federation through ActivityPub.

The point you're making, while valid, is basically orthogonal to the discussion in this thread.

Blizzard has plenty of *real* problems, the fictional ones aren't helping.

And the general consensus is that Diablo 3 turned it around and became great years ago. It's a shit take.

Trying to get her back to being vegetarian?

This isn't "speaking of a topic." It's insulting others that make or plan to make different choices in their lives. It's no different and no less annoying than a religious nutjob with a megaphone. Do they have the right? Sure. Do I have the right to tell them to shut the fuck up? Also sure. Your argument cuts both ways. If my post bothers you so much, ignore it. Move on. Why expend the emotional energy?

At no point am I advocating for silence. Point your voice where it needs to be pointed.

I concur. Pissing on someone else's life choices, for no reason, like people who don't want kids tend to do is tiring. I get the venting because people in their lives won't leave them alone about it, but then to turn around and do the exact same thing? Congratulations on being no better.

It's a quote from an episode. It's funny because the show had obviously sexualized her a few times already.

Kansas is also stupid.

Can't be taken seriously != someone being serious.

Kansans largely eat it up. Just yesterday I heard the age old "why do have a black history month" rant at Lowe's.

Kansas has a republican super-majority in their legislature; they are veto-proof.

Are you talking about a sheepshank?

That would be a horrible guess, as Brendan has said he'd never attend them.

FWIW, I get the "joke."

Jessica Jones S1 is a slow burn. At no point would I describe it as garbage. One shouldn't pretend the two are synonyms.
