I never pull in because I can't see shit around your brodozer when I'm trying to back out.

I always back in because it's the correct way to park, but I also keep in mind being able to load/unload whatever I'm loading/unloading.

They didn't. No warehouse does.

GRavity and brake fade don't care about your nanny state electronic governors dude.

That release lets the brakes cool off and prevents them from overheating. You also don't descend mountain grades at high speed to begin with

STab braking is simply STANDING on them for 3-4 seconds, bleeding off 20mph or so, then releasing and letting it coast back up.

This truck may not have had an engine brake, in which case you're supposed to 'stab brake'.

Easiest way to get brake fade in a CMV? Ride the brakes down a 7% mountain grade. You're supposed to use an engine brake to hold your speed.

It's called 'brake fade', and when it happens there is no amount of braking force you can apply that will get the brakes to work again.

What happens is the brake linings get hot, start producing gas, and that gas acts like a lubricant that drastically cuts friction.

Brakes on these trucks are really easy to burn up. The amount of energy they have to deal with is mind boggling.

It does make me wonder if that tupperware torpedo had a jake brake on it. 7% is steep but manageable for a standard 53 dry van on jake brake

Also this is precisely why those ramps exist and they are a GODSEND.

20 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No jake brake? Should have a jake brake that would keep it from overspeeding in the first place but some trucks lack them for some reason.

And that's how I do it. No ads, no bullshit, YT even plays through browser like on a destop PC.

Firefox for mobile + uBlock Origins. I primarily jam out to FM but sometimes I'll play Jon Young's Helldivers 2 metal album on the go too.

20 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bought Jonathan Young's Helldivers 2 Heavy Metal album there because they just gave individual non-DRM .mp3 download links for each track

20 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least for some artists it doesn't do that

20 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would I mess with streaming or jockeying locally stored music when I'm just gonna play the same shit the local rock stations play on FM?

can get 10 year car loans these days if you really like paying interest....also my ride is 54 years old with no signs of impending doom to be found. Paid off too, because it's inherited and grampa paid it off 50+ years ago haha.

So roughly half the mileage I put on my 54 year old truck annually. I did 22,000 miles in my grandfather's 71 Chevy C10 in the year I've had it dailyable so far.

And yet my 54 year old truck is just laughing at having to drive 80 miles a day 5 days a week all year round all weather.....

has this come across Louis Rossman's desk yet?>

At this point I don't give a shit if they release the files or not. It won't accomplish anything. The Justice System in this country has been so thoroughly skullfucked that at this point nobody'd get put in jail over any of the awful shit they prove went down anyway.

Protests clearly don't work. If they did we wouldn't still be running full throttle down shitstain avenue with wish.com fascists at the wheel.

This is the exact reason we have the 2nd Amendment. It's a shame the party that worships it and cums from reading it is the party we need to use it on while the party that needs to use it is irrationally terrified of the tools thereof.

I lean hard left on most issues, but 2nd Amendment? I don't think it goes far enough.

1, mandatory voting would not have helped us here. Some people just don't give two shits and will tick whatever box gets them out of the fine. You're not improving the quality of elections by FORCING people to vote, merely fluffing turnout numbers.

2, what's there to understand here? One party's incompetent, one party is LITERALLY FUCKING NAZIS. We don't live in complex times right now.
