Migros is originally a Swiss brand, still is. They had a Turkish subsidiary in Istanbul which later became independent.
That’s Italian-American for you. No overabundance of garlic in classic Italian cuisine. But there’s also not just one Italian cuisine. Depends a lot on regions (and who’s cooking, of course).
