Exactly, and that’s what *ahem* some people in the government don’t understand. America *has* vast power, yes, but the primary thing supporting that power is our global allies and what used to be some measure of goodwill from other major powers.
Put another way, the US is about the only country that has maintained the strength that would be needed to fight on a global scale. The problem is that its raw materials, manufacturing capacity, and especially infantry readiness aren’t sufficient to sustain that power for very long
Yes and no. The American navy is the cornerstone of its global power. There are few other countries that could project their military force half a world away on almost no notice, and no other military could disrupt global shipping as effectively.
And much like every other bad thing, the regime’s plan to stop it is to prevent anyone from reporting about it and then say the problem is solved.

The US Navy is owned by American taxpayers. I’m not sure Donald Trump is a member of that group.

Sadly, I’ve learned that in places not accustomed to winter storms, you have to do this…because everyone around you will, and then the store will be sold out for at least a week before they can restock the shelves. People are dumb.
Reminder that there’s always a moral option. It’s not always a nice option, but doing the right thing isn’t limited to being nice.
This, 100%. A homicide of a US citizen occurred in the streets of a US city. This is exclusively a police matter.
We aren’t “transitioning” to anything. Two law-abiding citizens were murdered in the street. It’s already a hot war, but only the federal government is shooting.
They’re making every choice aimed at maximizing profit, in the context of an economic system built on exploiting humanity for profit. They’re essentially trying to win a game where we all die when the game is over.
