Something happened like that a few years ago. Someone "fell" down the stairs. They lived and "fell" down the next flight of stairs. They were still alive and somehow "fell" down another flight of stairs. Can't remember how many flights of stairs they "fell" down. My thought at the time was that the windows must have been barred or something.

I never voted until 2016. I've voted every election since. Now I'm considered an above average voter. I've been legally able to vote since 1999. The biggest issue is people not voting. They think their vote doesn't matter. My mother is unfortunately one of them. She had a teacher tell her it didn't matter and it stuck with her. If everyone voted, things would be very different.

I've never bought any Lego sets for myself, but that one is tempting even with the price tag.

I have been slowly buying DVDs/Blurays at garage sales and flea markets to build out my collection. I used to have 5 streaming services and now only have 1 or 2 at any given time. The only one I haven't canceled at all has been Crunchy Roll. They have not been hit by enshitification yet.

Looks like I'll be buying another DLC soon. I haven't bought their new Clans game, but I'll definitely buy the DLC for mercs. I remember Mechwarrior 2 Mercs being my introduction in the franchise and getting owned when I first came across the clans having no idea what was going on.

I do miss Earth/Star Siege as well as the Cyberstorm spinoffs. I still have all of them laying around here. I might even still have some of the original game boxes stored away. I didn't play much of their Tribes spinoffs.

Don't forget the Bermuda Triangle and piranhas.

I'm surprised. I live in the area, but about 1 mile outside of Omaha. So, I wasn't able to vote for the mayor. I'm glad Stothert lost. I'm tired of seeing her campaign crap everywhere.

I used to love to listen to music, but when I turn up the volume, I always seem to hear ads. I then turn the volume back down, rinse and repeat.

I'm extremely jealous now. My stepfather threw most of my gaming stuff away. I only have a few random items left. I've been out gathering replacements, but its just not the same. I do wish I had saved the boxes though. I did get an original NES in the box from my uncle. All of my newer consoles I bought new still have the box for them.

Nice. I'd love to have those in my collection. Once I get some black lights in my newest curio I might upload some pictures. Though it's hard to get uranium pieces at estates by me. There's a retired couple who gets to them 4-5 hours early and they tend to buy everything they can.

I can't remember for sure, but I think they had early canned goods where the cans were sealed with lead as it was an easily meltable metal. They didn't realize that the lead would leach into the food and poison it.

I knew a shit stain who decided to rob a bank. As he was robbing it, his mother walked in and outed him. Remember kids, if you are going to rob a bank, don't rob one where someone might know you. Especially, your mother's bank.

You'll need to open it up and see. The power supply is external, so you don't have to worry about it corroding. Clean everything with isopropyl alcohol. 99% if you can get it. Sometimes, you just have clean everything and it will work. Use an old toothbrush and just scrub everything down. Definitely watch guides on how to open it. There's multiple models and they are very different to open and clean. If all else fails, you can put your HDD into a different unit.

Nice work. A few weeks ago I recapped an OG Xbox and am waiting on some new caps for a playstation 1.

I remember when you had to pull the cap off before you put the locking collar on. You then had to push in the locking collar to push the stopper into the bag. Well, one day I pull the cap off and the stopper came out with it. The syrup immediately poured out of the bag down my arm. I went home to clean up after that only to happen again the same night changing another one out. Luckily, I had rolled up the sleeves the second time it happened.

I'm from Nebraska and voted against this crap. Sadly, I know too many people we are just plain evil and stupid. A dangerous combination. Had someone tell me a few days ago that climate change isn't real. I know this person knows it is real, but they can't admit the truth since they are in a cult.

Most likely not. I was a beta tester of the original game way back when. I even got a signed copy of the game for being a tester. Still have it stashed away.

I still have one of the backwards compatible PS3s. Can play PS1 & PS2 games on it.

I think it was called Spaced Invaders.

I never voted until 2016. I saw who he is/was and voted against him every time since. Sad thing is, now I'm listed as an above average voter and I've voted in less than half the elections I've been old enough to vote in. The main issue is people not voting. If everyone who can vote actually votes, then we would be a progressive country. Sadly, the amount of apathy we have lets hate win.

I'm guessing it is a slingshot.

Anthem Blue Cross covers about half a dozen or so states. I think there a few dozen Blue Cross plans, with most of them only covering 1 or 2 states. They are part of the Blue Cross association, but each plan only covers people and groups based out of their own states. In other words, they don't compete with each other and this decision was just by Anthem and not the other plans.

I haven't posted it yet as I need to fix some of my lights and install more lights. I have 3 small curios that are stacked full and still have more pieces to fill at least 1 or 2 more.

Hard to give good advice. There are so many pieces out there and the prices are all over the board on them. I usually won't pay more than $3-$4 for a sherbet cup, but they tend to go for $10+ anymore. I would look online to see what they run there, and try for prices that are half or lower in person. Plates are not as collectable as they are had to display and most basic ones aren't worth what people are asking. Expect to pay too much sometimes and learn as you go.

The average price of pieces has nearly tripled in the past 1-2 years. I used to walk into an antique store and buy a couple pieces. Now, I'm lucky to find one piece I would consider a good price.

Even in my backwards state, as soon as we voted in person, we put the ballot in a clipboard sized metal box and handed it to a poll worker. The poll worker then took the small metal box, put it up to a larger metal box and dropped the ballot in. No one could see what I voted. That was in Nebraska of all places. Now, I just vote by mail.
