What international stuff? As a non american, who pays attention to the news, I had to google who the VP was, because I don't think anyone has heard anything about her in like 4 years. I have to assume she has a bigger profile in the US and must be known for something, but I don't think I can recall a single time I've ever heard her speak. So what 'international stuff', is it that you speak of?

my issue with Hera in Ahsoka is she's just too clean. In fact I think it's been an issue in a few of the shows, that several costumes are just 'too' clean. like they're fresh out of the packet and don't look 'worn' or 'lived in'. I think if they were to fix that it'd go a long way in helping the 'buy in', into the world.
It's just how the pharaohs would have wanted it.

To which franchise? To star trek? sure. JJ is utterly terrible But to star wars. RJ was probably worst. Only good thing I'll say about RJ is he has a good taste in 80s/90s anime which he slyly rips off for his movies. JJ does not have that redeeming quality.
It's still RJ's fault. If the producers didn't stop him, yeah the producers are bad, but RJ still made the decision to ignore everything from the movie before, and ignore narrative convention and story making. We know there was a plan because the Colin Trevorrow's original idea was built on it, which then had be to scrapped because RJ decided he knew best. The fact that KK and Disney then gave RJ the green light is damning. But it was still RJ's doing.
If there was a plan, RJ threw it away when he made TLJ. he made a conclusion movie in the middle of a trilogy. He showed no interest in continuing plot lines established in the movie before it, and no interest in making a 'bridge' movie at all. I have no love for JJ (i find him a talentless hack for his star trek destruction), but there was clear signs that there was an actual plan put in place, that RJ just went 'nah fuck that shit' with.
