I had to be selfish by cutting out the toxic people in my life, even though it felt like I was giving up on someone, and humble myself to accept help from the people who actually care about me. My situation was likely very different from yours, but humility is always a good thing to have, and it's never worth it to keep people in your life if theyre knowingly causing you harm
