Yes this is a sure-fire way to do a CMOS reset. Anyway: Sometimes after installing new shit, the board appears dead. This helps with that.
Turn off. Pull out the CMOS battery. Hold down powerbtn for 30 seconds. Put battery back in. Turn back on. See if that fixes anything.

Exactly.Pipe width defines data/sec. Overbook the pipe. As long as nobody uses their full share, yer fine. Once they do(netflix),yer fucked!

Truth is... plans aren't "unlimited". usually there is a Fair Use Policy. In the end, what costs money, is the amount of data transfered.
That's what it looks like with all plans being "unlimited" today. But if your ISP gave you 10GBit, but a 1MB limit, you wouldn't take it.
