Why do they put the shoe on hot?
Riker was already doing exactly what he wanted, what he worked his whole life to achieve. His doppelganger suffered years in solitary confinement and found out his clone had been living his best life. But while the copy was alone, Riker-prime was acquiring skills and experience. So it's like seeing your own job being posted, and then also seeing that you aren't qualified to apply for it...
From the user's point of view.
With the demise of most unions, workers in general lost political power. Less good paying job opportunities means you have fewer options, so employers don't have to compete to retain workers, it becomes a race to the bottom to lower expenses.Lack of anti-trust enforcement and the (often secret) monopolization of most industries has greatly accelerated all of this.
TLDW.Mr. Schmidt is not a hypocrite at least, but he should have learned his lesson back in Kansas.
There's a lot going on in that commercial

What's the alternate ending in Butterfly Effect?
The Turbo Graphics 16 portable would let you watch TV. Pretty good quality too.I've heard of people bringing them to football games back in the day, to see the instant-replays.

#11 If that were me, I'm VERY tempted to just go right through their door and take them to court.Let them explain to a judge how my car ripped off their door, and ONLY their door! I want to see that!!
Soo.... they can drown, or suffocate in a vacuum.... and that's it?
People give JJ Abrams way too much credit.Unpopular opinion: I didn't like Lost, or the new Star Trek movies he made. When I saw he was on TFA, I got a bad feeling. When I saw the movie was just a reskin of ANH, I was done with star wars. I think most people caught up seeing the next movie.
Also season 7, and parts of season 6...
TSA succeeds at being more annoying, while not actually providing real security.Of course the airlines don't really care. They do want to prevent terrorism/attacks, because that stuff is TERRIBLE for their business, but they also don't want to waste time on performative nonsense that aggravates their customers. If they actually made the TSA be about security, instead of its current play-pretend, that's one thing. But there is NO political will to make that actually happen.
Under magnification, kidney stones are often sharp or even pointed. On the plus side, they can use camera-guided lasers to break them up inside while you're under anesthesia. I've seen the doctors at the controls, but usually feel like I could do better with my arcade skills. It's the greatest video game you'll ever pay a ton of money for but not get a chance to play.
Hey now! This is America, and we have our own proud traditions to uphold!!

O Lord, bless our weapons. That we may blow our enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.
They enjoy it as long as they don't have to drive it to a tiny square room where they have to sit for 8 hours.
Also, that is quite a lot of water...
