Hey, this is pretty cool looking, but it also kind of looks like you're going for realism. (I like the detail of the blood on the gun. That really adds to the whole creepy feel.) If you do want it to be realistic, though, I'd recommend you look up some video of somebody shooting wooden boards with a .45 on YouTube. Should be pretty easy to find. Nutshell: It just makes a hole. Very anticlimactic, I know, but on the other hand I think you're underselling muzzle flash etc. Plus: maybe add tinnitus
