Can we sue Noem.for mis use of tax payer money?

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

just ask "does it generate kickbacks?" the answer is the same as "can we afford it". the'll find trillions in the budget if there's a 0.1% kickback for the yesmen who vote it in

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The entire point is to keep you guys poor and miserable. So you'll be easy to control and manipulate.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As long as you don't understand that the GQP will do everything that favours them and nothing they can't profit from you won't understand what is happening in your country

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To Republicans the government is only supposed to stop the bad people, helping the good people is the job of charity. So the government can spend infinite tax money for weapons and anything "national security" related, but anything that makes life easier for someone and suddenly taxes are theft.

Hoe much for an add and how much was redirected into her account

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Our country is being robbed blind and no one is doing anything

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The DEFICIT, not the accumulated debt but just the amount we're going to ADD to the debt in 2025 was 1.7 trillion dollars. We haven't been able to afford literally a third of everything we bought

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Americans should vote. They're going to.

It's about the priorities of the people in power.

I fucking hate conservatives with every fiber of my being.

Oligarch tax cuts

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The 1st one on the left could have paid for all the things on the left combined.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd be great if the other third of the population understood this and voted.

It's not just GOP. It's the American regime.

Hey, look, the white supremacist Chevy Chase.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

There isn't.

Its simple: GOP puts war on the national credit card. Then you and your domestic needs get to fuck right off. The GOP is the drunken dad that needed to buy smokes and a new truck cause the the last one ended up in the ravine while he was puking his guts out after drunkenly shooting a hiker on an out of season hunting trip in a national park. "Sorry kiddo no christmas this year"

3 weeks ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 4

i can't even afford anything!

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Remember, whenever they say "can't", they mean "won't".

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Politicians should not be allowed to have ANY additional sources of income while holding office. That is the job they're being paid for, and they should only have access to the same benefits granted to the public they are supposed to be representing. No stock trading. No gambling. No """gifts""". Nothing. Money should be completed excluded from "free speech" expressions, because it is not an expression. It's currency, and until an opinion alone can purchase something, it shouldn't qualify.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

America has always had money to kill anyone that's not a straight white christian dude (preferably protestant but we'll tolerate catholics), and has never had the money to do anything to actually help someone because of the risk that someone they help might be a minority.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@ Noem and her stupid hat:

3 weeks ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 4

agreed, it doesn't cover enough of her face.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You workin tomorrow? No youre not. How bout Wednesday? Nope.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Don’t forget the 10 billion pledge to the Board of Peace, justified by saying it’s less expensive than war, only to start a war a few weeks later.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The Pentagon has spent a ballpark 15 billion on the war in Iran.

Just as one example. We could have built 60,000 homes at $250,000 each. That's in just over a week.

If this war goes on even just two months, we could have built a new home for every single homeless person. Add another month, and you can include decades of social help for each person.

3 weeks ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

But Raytheon and Lockheed don't profit off of housing the homeless. tHiNk oF ThE sToCkHoLdeRs!

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If they still cared about the American military-industrial complex, they would support Ukraine.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your working under the disillusion that our government in its current form and structure are intended to benefit the masses rather than be a means of reinforcing a small ruling-class's control over our society.

Expecting something to go against its intrinsic function is naive.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah but the thing is ... They *want* the homeless. And the poor. Solving poverty is not a thing they want, because poor people are easier to control. Same as dumb, uenducated people.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Housing the homeless would be cheaper than [gestures vaguely].

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You want to know something sad, and very telling? I have a cousin who is all about MAGA, posts constantly with trump memes like "cry some more liberals", has a trump flag on his house. Then he had a daughter with down syndrome. Suddenly the cuts to Special education in his state (Wyoming, very red) are "unfair" and "not what he voted for" and special needs should be funded. But he didn't generalize that lesson at all. He still wants every other cruelty they offer.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The sad reality is that humans are still animals. We are myopic creatures whose perception of reality jades us to the issues of others because our primitive mind likes to feel in total control of our life.

Until faced with a direct instance of powerlessness to be able to sympathize with the problems of others, we are all too capable of hand waiving it away with simplistic, fallacious excuses to justify our biases.

So many have too little education and trap themselves in bad logic.

We need a paradigm shift wherein we learn to see each other as mutual cells within a super organism.

Healthcare is *cheaper* with universal Healthcare. Americans pay more per capita than anyone.

3 weeks ago | Likes 257 Dislikes 2

And they insist on it so that not one cent goes to people they don't like.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We dont just pay more, we get less too

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I tried explaining that to a conservative guy I know once, and he just kept saying "universal healthcare is theft"

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Housing the homeless would be cheaper than [gestures vaguely].

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but my money would be paying for, for, for ...THEM!!

3 weeks ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Literally my father's argument
"I'd rather pay more with insurance than have the government cover people who go against my religion"

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Didn't one of the insurance companies recently lose an amount greater than what it would cost to have universal healthcare, or am I misremembering.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that's the entire point. People paying more means that those who own the companies make more profit.

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah but Republicans don’t like having to do actual research or investigate the reality of things when it’s so so so much easier to listen to people they think are smart and in line with their political beliefs simply tell them what to do. Funny how rulers used to fear educating the masses would make them wise enough to overthrow them. Who knew teaching everyone to read would result in more than half choosing to dislike reading and do anything to avoid it?

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Most antipoverty measures are cheaper than doing nothing, but can't give the lazy poors anything or they'll be less willing to give you their labour at a steep discount.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But at least we have better health outcomes, right?

I think the huge tits one would be relevant here

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Republicans keep turning down universal/cheaper healthcare because black people would benefit from it. That's pretty much it. Any time they turn down something that seems like a good idea, 99% of the time they're turning it down because (insert group they don't like) would benefit from it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 0

This is wholeheartedly false. Our government is racist sure, but universal isn't and won't happen in this country because corporations can buy politicians for a few million dollars, and united healthcare alone has 15 billion to spend each year on making sure they have the votes to block any proposal. It's greed, not racism. Racism might be keeping those bought and paid for congressmen in office though.but ultimately that just means a new set of congressmen doesn't get to take payouts.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I think in this case, "universal health care would completely eliminate the insurance industry" is the reason we can't have nice things

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And “socialism” and “you can’t choose your doctor”… all kinds of crap

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think that is a driving force but I also think that they are personally invested in the insurance and pharmaceutical and healthcare industries plus all the money from the Lobbyists should be factored into this issue.

3 weeks ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

They're also being lied to and told that they'll be paying more for Healthcare than if their jobs don't provide x% of the payments.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This more than anything. They are all profiting off of it including politicians from both parties.

3 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The politicians rake in heaps of cash from lobbies, but for the voters it's just straight up bigotry, I'd say. So you're both right

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Left side: Concentrates wealth in hands of very few and only helps the same few. Right side: Spreads wealth among the most people possible and helps as many groups as possible.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 8

Might have gone over better if you had not used Left and Right. Still thumbs up.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thanks. Rather thick headed on my part.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

OH HI MARS

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I think people have confused your use of "left/right side" with their political counterparts rather than being a direct reference to OP's image.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. I done goofed in my literal vs metaphorical reference...paying the price.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Did you just forget that OPs image exists? They are talking about the left and right side of the image, not the left and right side of the political spectrum.

Stupid.

Don't know your lefts from your rights, do you?

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh, whoops, thought they meant left and right of the political spectrum, not the post. I'll be deleting that.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're not the only one, heh... Make sure to remove your downvote if you downvoted the guy. :)

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I did.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're not alone. It could have been written better.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It seems some people don't understand simple things like "left side - can afford" and "right side - can't afford" even though it's in the fucking post.

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think people (me included) thought they were saying left and right side of the political spectrum. Not hard to misread it that way.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It would make absolutely zero sense that way though.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Which is why it was assumed to be red hat wearing moron fed on FOX bullshit.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It would make zero sense that way too, it's not like they are hiding who they are and playing pretend that the policies aren't making the rich richer, they are proud of that.
