Hopefully if they demonstrate so much rich privilage, all these poors that keep supporting them will wake up and go "wait a minute". But, they support them, b/c they support the "higher up you go, the more law-breaking and abuse you're allowed to do" hierarchy. They know they won't make it to the table. But they think they'll be a top dog or rat under the table, and want to be able to do as they please in the pit of despair.

As a survivor myself there's days I try not to be vengeful and there's days when I think dismembered body parts on sharp sticks sends a pretty decent message to such people.
