Just makes me so happy that one day the last person to know the story of Christ will die and we will be free from the terrible crimes committed in his name.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I fear people will continue to commit more horrific crimes in the name of others.

It's correct, we can use "that" for objects and people.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"That" is usable for both objects and people. "Which" is only used for objects.

which

pronoun
Of what sort or kind; what; what a; who.
Similar: whatwho
A interrogative pronoun, used both substantively and adjectively, and in direct and indirect questions, to ask for, or refer to, an individual person or thing among several of a class; See the Note under What, pron., 1.
"which man is it? which woman was it? which is the house? he asked which route he should take; which is best, to live or to die?"

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The which, of which I speak, is a relative pronoun, whereas in your examples "Which man is it? Which woman was it?" the "which" is NOT being used as a relative pronoun but rather as an interrogative determiner.
The relative pronoun, "which", can only be used for objects, not humans.

Did you post that as a refutation?
