When you consider your options in primaries for example, check if they always couch criticism of Trump's war inside criticism of Iran. As far as we know, Iran doesn't have the capability to strike American soil (except embassies in the region). Their missile range is only a few thousand kilometres/miles. Iran can hit Europe though, which is one reason why European states are hesitant to support the US in this invasion.
