My mom worked when they wanted extra money for Christmas or some other money holiday, his income alone was enough for everything we needed plus. It's a wild thing to experience those perks as a kid then have none of them be present once I became an adult because there's no money left after the basics are paid for and I'll never have the space to store all that shit.

That is honestly my final backup. I know I can do it, just gotta wait and see where the line is that pushes me into full woods hermit mode.
