We are copying the US in every way imaginable. Here in Europe you can feel it creeping in. Everything is getting less budget, then called inefficient, then gets privatizised. Story old as time itself. Capitalism is the same everywhere. It's greedy and it wants more, more, more. Profit first. Humans are just tools. If you think you matter guess again. Your mother brought you in this world for you to be another cog in the machine. That's your life's purpose according to capitalism.

He is, temporarily. Next will be Vance, and then someone else. America will look like an unfortunate chain of bad events. The people must become educated so they can make educated choices.

Obviously I wasn't talking about you. You are here, discussing it, you obviously don't fall in the Trump supporter category.
You can't reprogram people by changing the media. 1 because you can't, 2 because you would be changing 1 drug for another. You want them to be able to think freely, not blindly following "the other opinion". This is done through education.
Pressure the people you have to pressure, to get better, inclusive and more affordable education.

Stop watching them. We live in the age of the internet. Information is everywhere. Watching fox news is a choice, not a predicament.

Trump is a symptom. Your problem is elsewhere.

My buddy, I thought the same.

The way he looks at her is saying "I believe in you. Do your best. Do good."
You won't see that look on Trump.

You are "source correct", the S-tier type of correct.

Listen to people when they tell you who they are. They are telling the truth.

Space exploration and war. The two sides of the spectrum of humanity, happening at the same moment. It really is a choice which one we make.

Well, people did vote for him, so he got a nice little push of his illusion. And it was for a second term, so it can't be appointed to ignorance. The majority did choose him. Was it on lies? Sure. But they already knew he is a serial liar. Anyway, in his head it is justified.

To each their own of course. It's just that I tried both of them and I prefer monthly by a long shot.

I'm getting paid twice a month for the first time in my life and it's been a struggle. Half the salary does not cover both various responsibilities, food expenses and fun, so I have to break it in two and be vigilant as to what I spend the whole time. With a lump sum you put aside the money for the various responsibilities (power, water, loan payments etc), do the groceries and then you are left with a portion of which some is banked and the rest is personal fun. Way more manageable.

Found this the hard way. Parents always told me how loyal they were to their bosses, granting them some serious perks. Me, after being 7,5 years in the same company they tried to low ball me into a management position just so they could survive a period of buy out. Said my goodbyes then and there. Fuck 'em.

I can. In my country there are 2 or 3 local alternatives that I prefer more than coca cola taste-wise. Their stevia versions are way better than coca cola zero. I support them any chance I get. One of them has multiple stevia drinks too, so even more options.

Results don't happen overnight. They take time, effort and consistency. Don't let influencers fool you into believing that your progress doesn't matter because it's not like they say or sell.

That's the Goodhart's Law. Described by Goodhart when Thatcher tried to KPI the doctors by the operation outcome, in which case doctors didn't operate on patients that were high risk. It's not just some snakes, it can have real life implications. Imagine not being able to get a doctor to operate on you because if you died their score would go down.

Next year don't expect anyone. Keep some money and go to SEA for vacation. Screw everyone. This your life. Have fun. If they don't want to follow, it's a them problem.

Well maybe it's time to move on from that. Israel can't be hiding behind the victim card for ever.

Care to elaborate? How is it *fundamentally* bad? I think it's brilliant, it's already been solving problems for humanity, for example the protein folding problem in biology and pharmacology, helping us with new remedies and pharmaceuticals, and testing physics laws to test their integrity. AI technology is way more than chat gpt, which is a glorified chat box. And it is inevitable. Neural networks which was the basis of AI, is been studied for decades. So again, do you care to elaborate?

That's the vibe I got from #1. But please enlighten me if you think the point was something else.

It's stupid to hate the tool because of its makers. You wouldn't say "I don't like the French so I don't use a french-press". AI is a technological advancement that would come sooner or later. Let's put reins on its makers, not the technology, and steer them towards society, not military contracts.

Either crash now or never. I wanna build a PC and the prices soar. So please don't crash in a month after I've paid x4 the money.

Use it less. Let the bubble burst. They lose 3 times the money they make(borrow). Stop using it and watch them crash and burn. The technology itself won't go anywhere anyway.
