I don't make front page edits
Unfortunately no one can pick it up now, the show was canceled by pressure from Donald Trump, who completely misunderstood the term resident alien and had the actor deported to a concentration camp. Trump was quoted as saying "Aliens? In my residents? No thank you."
#42 the insane thing about teams is that you can UNMUTE ANYONE too. No idea why that was considered a good idea. I'm constantly paranoid on teams meetings and have to always be checking the mic settings because I did once have someone unmute me while I was talking to a coworker who had walked up next to me. It was a work conversation, nothing bad. But every time I look away from teams I have to be conscious someone could have unmuted me.
Found them randomly through Pandora 5 years ago or so. This is definitely my favorite song by them but I love the whole razzmatazz album. Mad IQ and Sugar Pills are probably my favorites from it. Also if you like this music you might enjoy Joywave. I personally love Coming Apart by them.
Damn gif ends just a little too soon, i love the "*sigh* unzip me" line right after this.
#42 this art style has always weired me out for some reason. It looks more creepy than cute. Also the nose and eyes look like a small frowny face with the actual mouth being the smaller faces chin
#36 looked this up on wiki, he also published a series of articles under the same name (Acéphale) which from a quick glance were partly devoted to condemning the use of Nietzsche's philosophy to promote fascism, nazism and anti-semitism. Seems like a pretty cool guy.
I'm in this boat. I also remember going to a new dr once and when going over allergens and medicine on my chart the doc tried to tell me that Tylenol was an NSAID. I told him that it wasnt, and I knew because taking it didn't cause me to stop breathing and die. He continued to argue with me that Tylenol was an NSAID. Fastest I have ever ditched a new Dr literally less than 5 minutes in the room with him.

For instance, vampires don't need to be invited to be allowed to come in. That was invented by Bram Stoker for the character Dracula but is now widely used. Therefore if you want to be technical, any vampire that needs to be invited to be allowed to enter should be called a Dracula, not a vampire.
The Gorgons were specifically three sisters. Calling her a Gorgon when she was not one of those sisters is as incorrect as calling her a Medusa. Medusa was also importantly not immortal, which the other Gorgons were, and described as having snakes for hair, while in some depictions her sisters were only described as having snakes around their waist. It's all borrowed mythology anyway. Vampires were originally witches or ghosts/spirits but stories combined to give Dracula which you think of.
It's from "the good place". Ted danson was great in it.
I vaguely remember a sim city dystopia that was designed like this. People were purposefully given such long commutes that they had no time to do anything but go to work, work, go home and then it would be time to go to work again or something like that.
I see, thanks! I do remember reading at least a few chapters of that one but had completely forgotten about it.
Whats this from? horimiya? Looks familair but I read it a long time ago.
I learned this from one of Douglas Adams' books actually. Last Chance to See. They used a condom over a microphone to record the Yangtze River sounds. Excellent book.
#47 is from a magic the gathering card called "homicidal seclusion" which just makes it more accurate imo
I will admit to only knowing about him because of the Fate anime (I think it was fate zero)
Other fun fact: komodo dragon babies hatch and then zoom straight up the nearest tree because adults will eat them but can't climb trees
Fun fact: komodo dragons will bite prey but not chase after it. The prey will die from the bite and another komodo dragon will likely eat it. They apparently are fine "sharing" kills like this since the system works as long as they all keep biting things. Source is "Last chance to see" by Douglas Adams.
#39 is https://garouma.tumblr.com/ very cute art
Then you grow up and have to split every holiday in two while both parents complain that you don't spend enough of the holidays with them
I almost let him have it for the medical bills he must rack up dealing with those massive balls.
