I am in the UK so I need a VPN to surf Imgur. It's blocked otherwise because of the stupid law in the UK.

I don't know what Ender 3SE she is using but MY Ender 3SE connects to the internet. I slice a file on my PC and send it to the printer via my wifi. I also have an optional camera on the printer so I can see the progress on my PC as it prints. It's a solid printer, great for beginners but also good enough and upgradable enough for more advanced users. (You don't have to connect it to the internet. You can use a SD card if you prefer.)

People hating Margaret Thatcher forget, or just don't know, just how dire the UK was before she came to power. In the 70s we had rolling power cuts, were told to share water with a friend to save water, the UK had to be bailed out by the IMF etc etc. And some people still blame her "for closing all the coal mines" when in reality more mines closed and more miners lost their jobs under Wilson's Labour government.

I've eaten cold Heinz ravioli and people have made comments about being gross. But I've pointed out that you can buy pre packed salads that have pasta in them so what is the difference in eating that cold?

A fantastic bit of obscure trivia is the studios at the old BBC TV Centre in London sized all their studios in "metric feet", which is 30cm.

Yep. And I happily eat a can cold, from the can. But they're great heated up and on toast.

Yeah, if it has been closed all this time then why have oil prices shot up after Trump invaded? If we haven't needed it for the last 47 years then clearly we don't need it.

DTS promoted F1 but it did use editing to create drama and controversy. As Seb said they say things in the heat of the moment but off the track they all know each other and most get on well. After an incident in most times they'll have a word after the race and be cool about it.

UKIP was really a single issue party. Brexit was their only policy, since no mainstream party listened to the public's concerns about the EU. When we joined we were sold membership as a simple free trade, free movement deal. Treaties like Lisbon and Maastricht that turned it into a political union were signed without asking the people, no election manifesto etc. And on immigration what they wanted was the same immigration rules that the US, Canada, Australia etc all had.

And Commander Koenig of Moonbase Alpha, Cornelius of Planet Of The Apes, Number Six from The Prisoner, Napoleon Solo from Man From UNCLE, Blofeld from James Bond....

Pretty much every case the murder would have got away with it by just exercising their right to silence or would have had the evidence kicked out in court had they not confessed. But it's still a fun show.

You can get waterproof bags to put your smartphone in if you are going canoeing, boating, camping etc. Totally waterproof but you can still use the screen.

Iran sold plans for the Shahed to Russia so Russia builds them to use against Ukraine.

You think Brexit was a "conservative" thing? Benn was a Labour MP. The official leave campaign was run by a Labour MP. She was the one who put that infamous slogan on that bus. Most Conservative ministers and senior politicians were strongly anti Brexit and campaigned to stay. As Benn said in this video I as a Brit can vote out the UK Prime Minister. I had no power over the EU President, and couldn't even chose my EU member of parliament. Brexit was democracy defeating the political elite.

Same with old print journalists. They had no idea how many inches there would be for their article so every thing they wrote was in paragraphs where you could cut it between any paragraph and it would make sense. The story was in para one, and every later paragraph just added more detail and was self contained. The editor could cut it anywhere.

A classic example is the current EU President Ursula Von de Layen. She was one the Commission, all appointed, not elected, and was chosen to be President in a secret meeting of those Commissioners. And only the Commission can put bills before the EU Parliament. The elected MEPs cannot propose bills, only vote on what is put in front of them.

In the UK right now there is a TV show called Repair Shop where people take old family items that need repairing. They restore them sympathetically, taking a lot of time, effort and skill to use original materials and techniques. It's great. A rival channel has a show where they take something old and transform it into something tacky and hideous, like this globe. They'll take an old vintage TV and turn it into a fish tank or something. It is so depressing to see.

I have a Windows app on my tablet called Sleep Waves. It has lots of sounds like rain, winter storm, thunderstorm, river etc. And you can have two or three running at once. It has a sleep timer so you can go to sleep to it.

For the big popular movies the studio keeps every cent of the ticket price for the first week or two. The theatre literally gets nothing. The food and drink is their only income. After a week or so the theatre gets to keep a percentage, which gets bigger over time. For movies not expected to be huge hits the theatre gets to keep more of the ticket price.
