Basically, how can they even *tell* if your gender marker is wrong/license revoked if you just go vote anyway? (2/2)
So... Just to clarify- 1. Kansas has revoked driver's licenses for updated gender markers. 2. As far as I can tell, Pre-revocation Kansas DL's do not have any visual differences from post-revocation ones. 3. Voting/polling places, while they do *look at* your DL's, as far as I can determine, they don't *run* them electronically through DMV, like a LEO would on a traffic stop. So unless I'm missing some steps here, people should be able to vote with their physical License/ID. (1/2)
I guess he's not allowed to see Meg and Stewie anymore.
Agree 100 percent. The current arrangement is a dumpster fire that needs to be scrapped and re-imagined.
The original concept has been lost. The Police were supposed to be citizens keeping order. The police were 'us'. At some point it became 'Us' and 'them' and from there devolved into a shit show. Society DOES need police but cops in general need to pull their heads out of their collective asses and LOOK at what they're doing and who they're serving.
It's not that soldiers attitudes are more like police, it's that Police are more and more like soldiers. A *lot* of police officers are former military, and bring a. "Fighting enemies" mindset to an occupation where that is wildly inappropriate.
Might be using something like a "no open flames in the park" statute to have an actual charge
Is that bayou Lafouxhe?
And John Tunstall in Young Guns
If they cure cancer, then how will the drug companies force you to pay for marginally-effective drugs till you die? Won't someone think of the stockholders?! /s
They'll just jangl some car keys at their target demographics close to election time. It usually works for them.
I can imagine a fantasy sett8ng where this guy is a DnD gnome but doing the exact same thing.
I mean... it wasn't flying off the handle. Bro found out where and when, put on a disguise, got into position and made the hit, then even hung the phone up before the troopers grabbed him. Gary Plauche knew exactly what he was doing and was plgood with the consequences.
It didn't help that the entire thing looked like a bag of ass. No one in step, everyone with fake pasted on smiles.Although... I'd have been hyped for a parade without the modern stuff. Just the period uniforms and old equipment...
Russia gonna lose more ships* to a country without a navy?*could mean 'piles of rusty junk that still happen to float'
Same with Peter Cushing back in 1977. He played the merciless, calculating Tarkin.... but when off camera Carrie Fisher said he was super nice, like everyone's grandpa.
SA failure on the Viper pilots part. Why did they let the flanker come in on their six like that? Where's their wingman and why wasn't he covering the flight lead?
I don't understand... did someone stop her in the bathroom and try to inspect her bits? Don't ladies rooms have stalls and no urinals?
The F8 Crusader also had an instance of this. Those late 50s into 60s hotrod had some kick to em.
Pawpaw showing how it's done
This is Smalls, isn't it.
Incredible flying and general airmanship, and proof of some of these planes' ruggedness. I don't know if they're still using any of the WWII era planes anymore, but now some converted airliners and more modern airframes are taking care of business.
Holy *crap* that guy's lumpy.
I like the whole season, and the villains fighting with the heroes on the principle that if "Darkseid wins we're all hosed". The badguys have to live on earth too.
At least where I live, you have a choice between the city/county EMS/Fire or a private regional ambulance service. Of course the public one, while competent, is understaffed and generally 'for the poors'. The regional service is better funded and equipped but expensive., and is the only service available outside some metro areas.
In the south it would immediately become a fire ant mound. :(
Oh God, the Military is rife with this. We send people to fetch.. Humvee keys (don't exist); A box of grid squares; a spool of flight line.; a bucket of rotor wash (or prop wash, or jet wash, depending on what the unit flies.); a metric/left handed screwdriver/adjustable wrench/hammer
Cop should be glad it was only a guy with a camera that time. Take his lick for it, learn a lesson and maybe live to retirement. That could just as easily have been a gun instead of a camera.
I just make a noncommittal grunt noise. Somehow this (In south Louisiana) is still agreement? When all I really want them to do is stop talking and let me go back to minding my business.
