#5 You can tell he’s an asshole by the speed of his car!

Yes indeed. But if the NYT didn’t shill for the status quo it wouldn’t be the NYT.

That’s fresh! Thank you for bringing Mr Wobbles to my attention!

“We” don’t produce it, the oil companies do. So, yes, they will make a lot of money. But taking 20% of the world’s supply offline just increases the cost of just about everything “we” buy.

It’s wild how he talks about government as a money making venture. It’s the only way he can understand things. He has no concept of public good or service.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted for this. It’s true. Good looking people are more likely to be hired and chosen for various things. It’s unconscious bias.

If he takes over now he will serve more than half a term and therefore be eligible for only one more term.

But those yokels are evangelical. He converted to the wrong religion!

So, JD converted to the wrong religion? 🤣

Your system sounds good. But US law is as I’ve described it. Having to pay a fee to vote is unconstitutional. IDs issued for free by the government would be fine because they come out of general revenue. But no one is suggesting that, because these laws are about preventing people from voting, as you know.

It’s not “supposedly” illegal. The 24th Amendment prohibits poll taxes. Requiring an ID you have to pay for is the equivalent of a tax. It’s requiring you spend money in order to vote.

It’s gonna be even better than when Cheney or Kissinger died.

When we got a dog I made a rule that he couldn’t sleep in our bed. That lasted about 2 days. He started the night in his bed but was in ours when I woke up! 😅🐶

His dementia is worsening. Having no filter is one of the things that happens.

It’s also asymmetric warfare 101. Iran can’t match the US militarily, so they attack in other ways. In this case, they attack the economy and Trump’s political support. They know that a few months of $4 a gallon, or more, gas and people will be screaming at him to get out. And they know Trump doesn’t have the commitment or mental capacity for a protracted war.

Yep, this made me smile. I like the mom who checked the stroller wouldn’t roll away before sinking it! 😄

This is Murc’s Law; that only Democrats have any agency in politics while Republican shittiness is just assumed and excused.

I love seeing stars in roles they had before they were famous. I was too young for this show when it was on TV. Gonna have to go find it on streaming!

Yep, that’s a big part of it. And they’re glad Trump hasn’t let people claim asylum, I mean isn’t letting all these “illegals” in.

Will they tell the other bees or do you have to teach all 10,000 of them? 😉

As if the media don’t already go out of their way to make America’s wars look good.

The “not-so-supreme leader” thing is so 🙄

Stilt skillz!

This is it. Tom Homan is a smarter, more professional fascist than Greg Bovino. Homan knows to keep it quiet. He has moved enforcement to the suburbs where there are fewer people around, and more that agree with the program. Plus, Homan actually does seem to think they should be prioritizing criminals. So it’s less of a shitshow.

My uncle still supports him. He watches Fox and doesn’t pay close attention. Plus, he’s a wealthy business owner in a rural area, so he’ll be fine pretty much no matter what. It’s all vibes with him. Trump is a strong leader who don’t take no shit and stands up for America. He closed the border and is deporting all those illegals Biden let in. Any facts I bring up just bounce off. It’s wild to see, actually!

I am a rider and I never lane split. It’s dangerous. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous enough as it is, you don’t need to add to it! 😅

I think this is true. One of my fantasies about winning the lottery is to be able to give money away. Tipping a waitperson $1000, stuff like that. Scott Galloway talks about how good it feels to give money away.

Heh, yes some. But the higher needs are more about family, friendship, and self esteem, examination and actualization. You need safety and security before you can really consider those things, and money really helps with that.
