I literally eat bees. This is not a joke. If you wanna get to know me you must be okay with the fact that I eat bees. Here is a picture of me eating bees: https://imgur.com/a/TJpyPGz
It’s amazing they could pose underwater long enough for the artist to draw them!!
Living la vida loca!!!
Not a bad idea. Thanks!
I’m Canadian and grew up with metric, but I find it very difficult to visualize. I can estimate *very* vaguely—not accurately enough for GPS instructions to be very useful though. I have never been, say, 100 meters from an object that I knew to be 100 meters away, and where I could then learn what that looks like, but I feel like that would help a lot.
#3 Where’s my fucking son?!
A buddy of mine found one in a dumpster in the ‘90s. Supposedly it ended up there after an illegal telemarketer was shut down. He used it to tell people to send a dollar to “happy dude” or something in return for eternal happiness. Don’t think he made much money with it and it was eventually destroyed by the police.
And I just want to clarify that I am not “pro-AI”, as I do believe it presents some tremendous problems for society, particularly in terms of misuse and greedy corporations using it to replace jobs, regardless of whether it’s smart enough to do so.
do, but part of it is learning where it’s most helpful, and not trying to use it for everything. Granted, I don’t assume everything it says is absolute truth, and think of it more like talking to a person: they can be wrong, so think critically, and if it’s something especially important, seek corroborating sources. That said, sometimes I use AI just to figure out what it is I’m looking for and then use a traditional search engine to do my own research.
I find it useful for identifying things, troubleshooting, and bouncing ideas off of. Some recent things it helped me with include: remembering which functions to use in Blender to achieve a certain result; solving a technical issue with a niche piece of software; finding a new desk that would meet my unusual requirements; identifying a movie that I recalled a scene from; reflecting on some philosophical ideas. I can do these things myself, or post online and wait for responses, and I still

I travelled there from Canada a bunch of times over the last 3 years, and really wanted to visit again. I will not be going back any time soon. Most Canadians, including myself, are much too worried about being taken by ICE or detained at the border. I also don’t want to give money to a government that is hostile to my country. I do hope things get better soon, unrelated to my travel goals, but because of all of the harm that is being done to so many Americans.
Will they though? I’m trying to be objective here: it doesn’t seem to have happened in previous cases.
Yep, that would actually help, unlike this senseless violence.
Are robbery and homicide not major crimes? I am not defending the CEO’s awful actions, but if you read the article he was fleeing and they chose to pursue and kill him. The CEO’s actions were blatantly illegal; they could have reported him, received their money, and found new jobs while they let his business sink.
How? I’m not defending the CEO’s awful actions, but they accomplished nothing, and only did harm. This will not create meaningful change, the CEO will not be made to pay those he abused, and it certainly will not do anything to change the behaviour of other exploitative businesspeople; we can see this from recent history. Now two of them are in prison, and likely another to follow, and one person is dead.
It’s not justified. It is disturbing how many around here will cheer on violence and murder if they feel it is somehow to their benefit.
I am not defending the awful actions of the CEO, but the employees should have reported him, and left. Homicide is not the answer. If you read the article, you can see it was not in self-defence. They planned and coordinated a robbery on their own time and killed the CEO when he attempted to flee; he was not even fighting back. The CEO’s actions were not justified, but neither were his assailants’.
im a grate speeler, you just hav too practis mor
Nope
Agreed. I wonder if I’ll be able to get one though. Wondering if I might not be able to find one by the time I could afford it. I know they still make it but the pre-2020 facelift if just *chefs kiss*
You can install a modified version of YouTube on iOS, no jailbreak required. I use YTLitePlus. I haven’t seen an ad in years. Skips sponsors in videos too.
I used to host a radio program about East Asian music with a focus on Korea. Labels can be greedy, sure, but the music often shows a lot of care and artistry. What I love are the creative risks in the space, like genre blending, unusual scales, and unconventional arrangements. K-pop isn’t one sound, but more of a broad category, and it’s constantly evolving.
I’m always down to have food shoved at me
Whoa, what’s this from?
