I would hardly call this formal proof, it's making certain assumptions (like assuming for example that the person exists in a closed loop system with only the ai agreeing or disagreeing with them, or that the ai always agrees in such a way as to reinforce the belief) that frankly render this paper borderline nonsensical, but I don't disagree with the basic idea that AI as it is today is inherently harmful to people who use it extensively
