I feel a minor blessing living on the border because we're a town of Americans who sound Canadian
It would be so easy for my county to become part of Canada.... We're already in the Vancouver Metro area.

So they got a custom on ramp to it (both directions an option), but the house and main property were way above the highway and away from noise. Basically middle of nowhere until they wanted to go somewhere

Seriously what my household wants to do when we get enough money to set ourselves up nice. Get restaurant dishes that will last forever and set everything up with the practicality of a commercial kitchen
I don't think people realize how much time and money it takes, and I live in a super sane and reasonable place where it's "easy"
I had a coworker basically get this from our old boss after he got fired. We absolutely had the digital version of this with our team seeing the screenshots while we roasted that asshole
If all you have is emotional blackmail to keep yourself alive, use it. I eventually got access to help and I'm so glad I just stayed the fuck alive

Nope that's common. It's scary how many native English speakers in the US, with no other language they speak, still don't really have a decent grasp of English. Basic literacy is getting harder to find, and it's common for immigrants to pick it up faster as a second or third language. Knew siblings in high school, one grew up overseas and knew 6 languages. Little brother grew up in the US and barely knew one.
Truth. I'm 37 and my Gen z coworkers have fucking carded me bc they didn't believe I was over 25. Between being a millennial whose grandma has skin cancer (dipped in sunscreen constantly) and hrt, I really don't look like I'm pushing 40
I'm pretty sure Republicans think about my junk more than I do and it's fucking weird

The biggest problem I see is gymnastics. It's basically impossible for men to do women's gymnastics and the other way around. You have to be totally minmaxed out on stereotypical gender traits to do well. You'd need to separate that from like, shooting and skiing which shouldn't be gender based. I'm a trans dude and the muscle mass is real. Women have to work 10x harder for the same mass men get sitting around so maybe weightlifting should be in categories unless the data shows women could win

Yeah gymnastics would need to be totally reworked. I've seen bits for fun where male and female gymnasts tried the other way around and all failed horribly. It min maxes on gender differences. Tall sturdy women don't do well at women's gymnastics even. I'm a trans dude and failed horribly at girl's 20 years before I transitioned. Bones were too thick basically
