Sounds like the espionage game I ran where the PC's spent four sessions setting up the perfect assassination of a third-world political figure, only to stop one step short of putting the plan in action by asking each other, "Wait... Killing her was our mission, right?" (It was not.)
Remember also that Lee's longer-term goal is to make homosexuality and transgenderism considered 'porn', so any representation of it anywhere can be considered illegal.
I'd heard rumors that they were going to do more with different 'parties', then do a cross-over a la Avengers. Usually I don't like the "Let's do Avengers" formula, but this one sounds promising!
#14 Reading this as, mid-depression attack, my cat climbs up and curls up in my arms. No joke, he's kept me from doing something drastic so many times. (Now it's him and my boyfriend). Cats love. They just don't always show it in ways humans do.
Seriously! My brother used to work doing R&D in the steel industry, and all I had to do is say, "What's new in steel?" And he'd just light up! And then I'd learn cool stuff about steel!
I do this for my BF and his video game stuff. I grew up learning that one of the worst feelings is not being listened to, _especially_ when it's something you're excited about. So I try my best to give everyone that enthusiastic space to tell me something cool!
Visited this as a kid. I was too young to appreciate any of it. Also, I had a minor heat stroke at the time. I really wish I could go back, see it and appreciate it, y'know?

#17 I found so much joy at holiday gatherings just going up to people and prompting them for stories about things I know they like - if they like their job, what's going on there. If they're talking about their family, asking how their relatives are doing, etc. And then I just genuinely listen. People want to talk about things, and if I can make them happy by giving them a person to talk to? It'll make my day, too.

My mom went on a vegetarian kick when I was young, and knowing 'kids don't like veggies', would _hide_ it in our food. Try to trick us into thinking the vegetables were something else. Pro tip: Don't do that. I grew up with so many bad eating habits because of it, including a distrust of lots of types of food. Be honest with kids, find veggie prep that has flavor, and for ghods sake don't lie to them about shit.

My boyfriend is trans. His only relief is just trying to disengage with all of it, and while I'm not 'fine' with that, I understand it. Meanwhile, I'm making contingency plans for him if things get much worse. I'm sorry you almost lost yours. Seriously. Anyone who's making these rulings needs ... something. Change. In ways either radical or subtle. Whatever changes them.
A thing to remember: When Bush II was in office, the United States adopted a policy saying that, if any US citizen (read: Politician) were sent to the Hague for war crimes, the US would send armed troops to bring them back. This policy has never been redacted.
The woman, Toni Storm, has a major 'shtick' and is hella charismatic and funny in her spots. This particular clip of her? I dunno.

#7 I didn't realize how much trees would change things for me. I've lived on my own for about 30 years now, but only 3 years ago did I move somewhere that gives me a view of trees. Seeing them wave in the wind like, instantly lowers my blood pressure, and I can feel the tension in my back and shoulders slip away. I can see trees from my desk, and it's magical.
Tonight during a tabletop game I said, "Damn the man! Save the Empire!" and no one got it. I turned into dust immediately.

Also recognize that this guy? Believes Saturn doesn't exist. Like. The planet. He believes Saturn doesn't exist, that it was named as a play on 'Satan', and that it's part of a Satanist conspiracy.So yeah. Might just not want to listen to him on stuff, good or bad.
