I had friends, and over time they outed themselves as abusive selfish assholes that care more about being entitled than other folks.

I've never been in one or known anyone who had... I never got the impression they were BAD necessarily, but they've been nonexistent for me.
It's also largely because of the avoidance of dental work in general, to help overcome the fear of it. Most of us are anxious bc pain and $$

Depends. I have three deeply impacted wisdom teeth, for me it would be a complex surgery to remove them.
I recall vaguely doing something similar when I had my uterus out, or a laparoscopic surgery, I don't remember which.
