If you are reading this, please go yell at me to get off of social media
... Which is not necessarily a good thing... The Liberals are obviously worlds better than the Conservatives, much like how the Democrats are better than the Republicans, but the Liberal party has definitely shifted to the right under Carney relative to where they were before... And more social conservatives joining the party almost certainly won't help with that at all. Meanwhile the NDP, the only real and serious left-wing party, is also in shambles, and undeservedly so, I'd say.
"Accurately." :/ Riiight... Just casual transphobia in passing there.
No, he won the most votes but NOT the majority. He won 49.8%; Harris won 48.3%. The rest went to more minor candidates.
No. There were more than two candidates. Also he didn't actually win the majority of votes (though he came very close).

It's not tilted as extremely as that
That's wonderful! These asshole cartoon villain fascists are gonna be running around chasing after literal rainbows, lol. Can't make it up.
I keep saying he's a cartoon character who somehow escaped into the real world. But I usually just end up preaching to the choir. How does anyone take him seriously at all, never mind supporting him?
Not many
The flag in OP's picture is only hostile to Trump and people who voted for him. Nothing is being "conflated" at all.
So we should play nice with everyone... except the Democratic party? Well, thank you for your very neutral and objective perspective. :/
Shouldn't there be a little crank in the front that you have to turn?
"National security is when I get to do whatever I want, at whatever cost, and anyone who tries to stop me is a traitor."
(Also, yeah, as the other commenter notes, the Kinsey scale is for sexual orientation, and... how many lovers you had doesn't really have much to do with whether you're cis or trans at all. :/ I guess having intimate relationships with lots of people with different gender identities *could* help someone figure out their own gender identity, like, just by getting to know all those different people very well?.. Maybe?.. But being gay vs straight is totally separate from being trans vs cis.)
Sincerely, I think you missed my point. You asked "how do you know [you're trans?]" I'm simply pointing out that SOMETHING eventually told YOU that you're NOT trans. I'm saying that the answer to your earlier question is probably gonna be something similar to the answer to, "how does shalafi71 know they're cis?" Sounds like you had a bit of a life journey and eventually something helped you figure out your identity. But whatever it is that eventually made it click, that's probably your answer.
I think your link is off by one day! https://www.smbc-comics.com/comic/2011-07-13 But yes, I immediately thought of that exact one too :P
The real world is full of crazy despots with big evil plots. That's not just the world superheroes live in. Oh, Superman, where are you now?
I feel we can be angry at the Democratic party but still be MUCH MORE ANGRY at the ACTUAL fascists and those who actually voted for fascism
Well, how did you figure out the "nope, not even close" part in your case? How did you know?
Absolutely, but, like, that's not new either. (Don't get me wrong, he found new lows in just how *hilariously* stupid and evil he is, but the "against the law" part is surely not new at all). And, lots of people care. It's just that, sadly, the Venn diagram of the overlap of the people who seem to care and the people who seem to be in a position to do anything about it, would appear to be just two separate circles approximately a billion light years apart.
TBF, not the first time he's threatened (or, for that matter, committed) war crimes, either. Like, I see Both Sides here! Both the side that points out that hey, he's really, really, REALLY crazy and dangerous now, so there should be consequences, but also the side that points out that he was ALREADY really crazy and dangerous before, so what else is new?
I think it's just that his already-cartoonish insanity has passed yet another notch of even more insane cartoonishness. But yea, nothing too new. Like, I think it's fair to say it's even MORE obvious now, but it's not like it wasn't pretty obvious already...
Lol, challenging the power of "big government" and drawing a distinction between the government and the country is good and right and proper for free-thinking patriots to do... Riiight up until the Right's preferred dictator takes over the government; then it suddenly becomes borderline treasonous. Kind of like how "free speech" is super important and "cancel culture" is terrible, right up until someone boos Trump, or Trump wants to use the FCC to cancel people... The Right has no actual values.
That's not very free-speech-absolutist of them
