I once went into the mosh pit at Wacken cause it looked fun. When I inevitably fell, a couple of huge dudes hepled me up and shouted at me if I was okay, then we merrily continued. I did not expect help or anything, it was pleasantly surprising. I was a tiny girl back then, so it was also an inclusive space, I guess, no stupid gatekeeping

Subnautica is a very beautiful game and suitable for a non-gamer to start getting into games (case in point: my gf). I highly recommend!

My gf used to watch me play certain plot-heavy games (or just something that generally looks beautiful) like a semi-interactive movie. Thankfully, she doesn't anymore, because we finally found the genre she could enjoy playing, and now we play together! Divinity Original Sin 1-2 first, and now BG3. She can't handle real-time first person games, but something turn-based where she gets to make a cool character? Yes, please! I reciprocate by supporting her (very single-person) hobby - drawing:)

I don't think he told the others but in the dorms everyone knew who spends nights where. We shared the small bed and cuddled, it was cold af

Iirc we were close to that a few times but it's hard to tell. He did do massage for me (I was half naked, but still kinda decent?) /1

Except my dumb inexperienced self. I was 17, he was about 20, so he was probably waiting age of consent. There were probably clues I missed.

said "It's my girlfriend"... And I was like "wait WHAT?" Turns out everyone we knew, friends of friends, roommates etc knew we were dating/3

possibly something worse. Thank you @OP for the amazing stories, I like reading them, but looks like diving is just not my thing :)

felt on the verge of a panic attack and opted out. I lost the money and the enjoyment of a dive, but I still think I saved myself from /3

But... You are not acknowledging yours, you are basically calling OP an asshole. That's what I meant.

can fix that issue for them, but blaming them for potential trauma in the past is not a productive approach either. /End

Perhaps I misunderstood your initial comment, but it read to me like you were disparaging OP for the very same issue. Of course, no one /1

You're right. Man am I bad at homo math!

It may or may not be OP's case for all we know. /End

It's a complicated subject, but yeah, subconscious (I don't deserve better) may play a role in the way they end up in toxic relationships /2

(not) fun fact: people who are emotionally vulnerable due to childhood/relationship trauma tend to attract those who would prey upon them /1

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bold of you to assume that. You know nothing about them and their relationship, so why jump to the stereotypical conclusion?

What if he says "less homo" next time? Will it cancel out the skipped "no homo"?
