I have an Acer and recently had a scare where the battery was dead and didn't appear to take charge. Nearly cried when it fixed itself.

When is the last time you and your spouse have talked about what you want? Not just out of your relationship, but out of life?
My first step was googling my options. I wound up finding a support group for individuals with similar experiences. It helped.
